Bob
Could the Northrop(Canadair) F5 Freedom Fighter be included. It was designed as a fighter but it did have hard points for bombs especially the Canadair CF5 aircraft.

Darrell, that was an oversight on my part for not including the F5. So yep it is included.

Hi Bob,

I've checked the list on the Campaign page, what about the Mig-27 and the Sukhoi 17/22 ?

John, I would say yes to the Sukhoi 17/22, but I need to research the Mig 27.

The Mikoyan MiG-27 (Russian: Микоян МиГ-27) (NATO reporting name "Flogger-D/J") is a variable-geometry ground-attack aircraft, originally built by the Mikoyan design bureau.

Well, based on the Wiki, I'd vote no. It was designed from the ground up as a ground attack jet and wasn't a repurposed fighter. Back to you Bob.

It's okay since there's an attack variant of the MiG-23 which is a repurposed fighter: The Mig-23BN

It's a MiG-27 nose on a Mig-23 fuselage as far as models go.

Lets do it as they did in the 1950's like the hunter killer squads.

Build the Mig 27 along with the Mig 23 together and it would be ok.

Sorry for the late response, I was just employed and am going through training.

WELL! We have almost 11 months till kick off for this campaign and I am still having a hard time pinning down which airplane interests me the most (they all do) to build.

OK, that's an odd bit of luck. Stopped into a Goodwill today and found a Minicraft 1/144 B-1A. Maybe I should build it instead of the Baltimore....

I think that this reply should be in Big Bad Bombers instead of Fighter Bombers, no?

I have finally decided on an a/c for this campaign. I will go with the CAC Boomerang:

I am not very good at making a ribbon (I have been trying with no success. Could any one offer any ideas, we have one suggestion which looks pretty good by: Dragon164

The T-bolt is probably a good icon for this campaign. I almost suggested using a profile view as it would be easier to see, but I'm afraid it would turn this into a P-47 campaign instead. SO I vote for what we have.

Bob, those are great pics of the Boomerang. Could you share them with the Ronnie RAAF campaign, or even Damien's Boomerang build
