I'm building a P-3C Orion for this campaign, in the 1970s white over gray scheme. I have several unbuilt kits in the stash, and located this decal -
not a week later I found this kit for a good price, Ill be building this out-of-the-box.
so the Novascale decal is surplus, if anyone wants it.

I hope this is ok? I’m going to get started with my “Kangaroo”.
I’ve only tried a resin kit twice before and haven’t finished either yet, but this one looks fairly simple and all the parts look really good.

That looks like a nice kit, and a very interesting topic - I had to go read the wiki, Id never heard of the Kangaroo.
I'd like to see that finished.
This campaign has been rather quiet so far. Ill start my Orion this week.

We have a wide range of unusual aircraft on the books here already !
Shorty, great choice mate, I'm really looking forward to seeing the Kangaroo come together.
I've been on the road for work this past week and managed to take a basic tool set and a couple of kits with me to occupy the evenings.
I made a start on the Special Hobby CAC-13, a few interior sub-assemblies, and attached the instrument panels to the fuselage side walls.
A bit of cleaning up to do then I can throw some paint at it.
There is more detail in my Boomerang Thread for anybody who is interested.
It's good to be back in action after a couple of years away!
Cheers, D

I'll need some time before I start, but after I have finished Eduard's new Bf 109 G-6, I'll begin with a Spit VIII from Hasegawa with the AeroMaster Decals of QY-T. It's time for another speedy Spit for my collection....
Does anybody know what FS-No. Foliage Green has? And what is the possible equivalent to RAAF Sky Blue? Can I use RLM 65 Light Blue for that?
I will post a photo of the whole stuff soon.
Happy modelling!

Mark, thanks for the chart, but it is no really help. I found a Medium Green from Agama (Czech Rep.) in my "easel" that seems to come close. I have to check the czech paint ...
Anyway, this will be my entry for the campaign, Spitfire Mk. VIII from Hasegawa in 1/48 with AeroMaster Decals ....
The aircraft was flown by Flt.Lt. Ron Cundy, No. 452 Sqn, RAAF in summer 1944

That's OK. I was surprised to find that they had a Aussie listing at all. I knew they had the RAF colours and thought that might be a starting place.
My kit is so old, the only color references are to Airfix M3 (Dark Green) and M6 (Matt Black). The other colors have descriptive names but no cross reference. So I may spend some more time banging around thate or at the IPMS Stockholm site trying to figure it out.

Mark, I started the F/A 18 that you provided and will post photos later. The plastic is different in that it is harder than what I have been building lately. 1/48 scale and this is a big airplane.
So how is the food there?

Food's not to bad. Lots of fish and chicken, some imported beef and lamb. Pork is hard to come by. Lots of Thai and Chinese foods, local mall has 3 sushi places, a McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut and a Kenny Rodgers. With lots of other restaurants.

Cockpit of CA-15 is just about done. Test fit of the fuselage halves look good. The wings are glued one and will only require a small amount of filler at wing fuselage connection.
