Wow! Some really great builds towards the finish line. We should definitely make a feature of the finished builds.
Thanks for participating and thanks for a great campaign.

I think I'll give you all two weeks to finish this off. 15 May will be it. Get cracking, and good luck!
Michael
1 week up 2 weeks, great news!
Thanks, we'll try.

Mr.K,
Just an outstanding build. The weathering really makes your build something special.

nice builds, everyone...
I dunno if i'm able to meet the dateline even with the extension till 15th (unless if it's the 31st)... I currently very busy with the dreaded ISO audit until end of next week...

@ Lap Man - I like your J-8 very much, congratulations
What color did you use? Is it Light Grey or White?
I got me the Trumpeter kit a few weeks ago
Cheers

@Peter - I used Tamiya Acrylic paint XF-2 flat white for base color and shading with grey color, then air brush a thin layer of XF-2 + XF-55 deck tan in a ratio of 10:(0.9) over the surface.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

Again, I don'think I will finish in time for the campaign. But I will finish. I drilled out the side light then painted it silver and over about 3 days I filled it with Future to create the lens.
Cheers Rob.

Looking forward to seeing the final result Rob.
Mr K, your Ka-25 is a very nice build. Brilliant finish and detail.
I'm also calling mine done. Airfix DH82a Tiger Moth of No.1 Flying Training School, Hatfield Aerodrome 1938.
Fantastic kit that goes together like a dream. I'm looking forward to building my other Tiger Moth, only I'll remember to spray it next time.
Great campaign and it's been great to see so many different types and schemes.

If the campaign has been extended to May 31 can I get back into the campaign I dropped out due to the time. I was building a DeHavilland Otter.Bbut if it has been extended to May 31 I think I can finish the project.

Darrell, I am not the campaign leader, but feel certain that you will be allowed to finish up before 31st May.

May 31 is the deadline, so anything finished before that qualifies!

Great to see you finish with a great result.
Glad you liked it. I thought the same thing when I sat back and looked at it. At least the other Moth is in the wartime scheme so the cammo will help tone it down somewhat. I'm planning a long term build of RAF trainers so this one will fit into the inter-war section. The campaign was a great opportunity to actually make a start.
