Hi all, just dropping in to say I am still in this thing, I have just moved to the Midlands so yeah, I have not been able to do much to my campaign entries, however the Bearcat is finished, I just need to take some photos of the finished article for the gallery, so those should be done soon!

I just put the white coat on the underside. I tried the black marker on the panel lines but it pretty much got lost in the white over Mr Surfaces 1000. Looks better on the F4D I'm building with white primer. Then I found the Fury nose gear crushed on the floor. Didn't know it was dropped.lucky for me the F4D is being built gear up and it's nose gear is the same length and very similar to the Fury. It will work with a bit of modification.
Cheers. Tom

Darrell, Jesse found some info that would give a yes on the CF5 (quote) It was used to drop things that go bang on people wearing green, so I'd say that it counts. (quote)
So yes on the CF5
Bob
Bob Checking the list today I did not see the CF5 listed. Is it included in the campaign.

i know i am a little late but better late than never.
i chose to do revel/monogram p47 razorback.
actually i already started it and am just now getting around to posting my choice so i will also include photos of my progress to this point along with. first the kit
i was planning on doing a oob build but i didn't like the kit supplied cockpit so i am going to try casting my own using the cockpit from the academy p47 bubbletop kit seen in front of the box.
does anyone know what color should the underwing bazookas should be? on the box they are shown the same gray as the underside.
also should the wheel wells and inside of the gear doors be interior green or zinc chromate?
thanks-joe

Hi mates,
I call this one done! Pictures are in the gallery. Built OOB, borrowed the decals from the Italeri kit, put a resin seat in, handpainted the whole thing with the hairy stick and at last added a metal pitot tube from Master.
Thanks for the campaign, much fun as always.
peter nice job, looks great. i can't believe it is painted by brush- paint looks perfect
joe.

ok now to show my progress:
i have already cast the cockpit, added some levers from rod and wire and painted it along with the engine and pilot. i need to give them a wash and some detail painting.
i still need to see how the cockpit fits, i'm sure i will need to tweek it. this is the first time i am attempting to use a resin cockpit or painting a pilot.
i also (not shown) scratch made a seat from sheet stock
joe.

@Joe - I built the Revell re-boxing of the same kit completely out of box earlier in the campaign because I went a little over-board with the number of entries (trying to reduce the stash a little before moving) and I did the under wing bazookas olive drab, same as the bombs and the inside of the undercarriage wells and the gear doors are interior green on my razorback, with some quite heavy weathering. Anyway, have a look at page 2 of this campaign thread if you want to see how it turned out
Hope this helps!

@Rob, sorry to hear that mate, but I'm glad your kid is ok, no better silver lining than that!
I have some finished shots of the Bearcat (finally) as predicted it took quite a while to do the photo etch stuff and it did not come out perfect but then again for a first attempt I think it turned out alright, and I'm glad I used the academy stores and not the testors ones as they are far better quality and really enhance the finished model
So there is the bearcat finished, I will start on the Harrier but I don't know if I will be able to finish it on time, any way, this was a fun build even if it did take a lot longer than I bargained for but I'm pleased with it
Cheers, Simon

Very nice shop worn Bearcat. Robert glad to hear the child is doing well.
I haven't masked a canopy in quite some time so that's the next step. Gull gray top coat then off to decals.

Havent been here for a while and it seems there are a lot of great builds going on. As for my project, I have the fuselage and wings together. I have praised the fit of the kit too soon. The fit of the wings to the fuselage was not good at all. I used a lot of putty and had to do a lot of sanding. Hobby Boss is still not top of the line, atleast this kit isnt.
