Only a few days left everyone!
Since there was still no ribbon I've used Oliver's design (thanks Oliver!) with some slight modifications to deal with proportions. It's now displayed on the campaign page. Hope you all like it OK.

Well I have finally completed my 1/48 Revell Apache.
I ran out of time with the build to be able to finish it to how I would have liked. It is only the third kit I have completed in the last year after a 40 odd year lay off. I found it difficult and frustrating trying to decipher some of the instructions which were maybe not as precise as I needed. Decals proved a pain. Some are sooo small. I do not have a clue about weathering but tried it anyway. Pictures are not the best but then neither is my model. I did learn some things and will hopefully be able to get more time at the bench to keep building more. Here are the photographs.
Work in progress
The finished, but not very good model.
Thanks for running a great campaign. Off now to improve hopefully on the next project.

Well, this campaign has officially ended. Looks like a great group of choppers, nice work everyone! I'll award ribbons now so if you don't get one and think you should, let me know! Remember, if you finished but didn't post in the gallery, I can't give you a ribbon.
