Oh, and not to put too fine a point on it, but this campaign still needs a ribbon.

I am in 4 campaigns this year, and haven't started on any of them. THAT is trouble.
But the rotor I seelcted for this campaing is a long standing favorite so I will get started on this one with a marathon building session.

Mark, you have done pretty good from what ive seen maybe you need a travel kit with some 1/144 kits and tools. I have thought about this several times.

Plenty of tools with me, Last month I bought a Iwata Neo Air mini compressor. Small, lightweight `1 lb and quiet enough to use in a hotel room.
I shot this wing, and some other parts in my hotel room last Sunday.
For no particullary brilliant reason I think I have 3 Heuy Cobras in the stash, That might be me starting point due to the small size.

Here we go:
This is a very old kit that has been reboxed several times. In dark green plastic, what an idea.
But it is suitable for this campaign, cvertainly when build with a little twist.
I just hope that I can make it by the deadline

I 'built' one version of that kit back in pre-history (1970 or so) and couldn't get any of it to fit. Not that Iknew what I was doing at the time, but it was one of the few unfinished kits I ever threw away. All I remember now was the ungoldy orange plastic the kit was molded in...

yes, there is some progress:
This old CH-53 kit of Revell (in its latest incarnation) delivers quite some value for money in the sense that it is big, and requires a lot of time trying to fix some serious gaps left and right.
and it is molded in dark green!!!!
But it is progressing at least
