I have little more engine update . Also Nigel and Lucy got his hair cut today .. He's my little man .. Lucy my little angel , but could not get her photo . She would not sit long enough

Not much modeling going on .I decided to upgrade the model work bench .
I really like this setup .
I built the top out of Maple wood .i been working on this for about month . I went to Ikea yesterday pick up a drawer system and legs

Little update on my engine build . I have The paint finished . I really like it . Came out very nice .
My only issue is the orange brown color ( i could not get that color ) . I know its not correct , but good enough for me .

I built a rear antenna and a dome . Not sure what the dome is for .
I installed a side guide wire or ground wire . Not sure what this is

I just came across this build. What a great work, the CH-53 is one of my favorites, next is the CH-54. I will follow this build.

I been working on the underside . Landing gear . I add some Hydraulic hoses and photo Etch
Installed the lift system above the side rear door

I installed this front part not sure what it is with two electric cable or hydraulic hose .

Awesome! having instructed on the fight controls on the "E" (rigging and such I must compliment you on showing the vast complexity of the rotor head. I approach 6' ^" in height and crawling/stepping around and over that monster is/was a pain. If you can try and find a picture of a dirty "E" before you finish it. and operationally the fuselage aft of the engines when all is done... is liberally sooted with soot. The engines are true smokers. (You can see the exhaust minutes before you see the Helo, if it is coming toward you)

I spray some black primer , then put into a heated dry box for couple hours . Now I will let this set for few day to make sure the primer cures good .

I finished the second color . I thought it was little bright, like it stuck out like a sore thumb . So I took some Light ghost gray, highly thinned. I then sprayed that to tone down the Med. ghost gray .
I believe it looks so much better .
