I been working on the rear folded area . Not sure what thats call or proper name .
I installed the fold tail . I added some hydraulic lines ..

I know its been a long time since I posted to this build . I got burnt out on this build and the forums . So I drop out for some time . i just built my own models with out any forum .
with that siad . I have the ch-53 BACK OUT .
I have the engine finished and installed . Its ready for the decals and weathered down .

I CH-53E clear coated , then applied oil wash . I tried Florys wash . Not working to well for this project . I also broke off the engine door . I may reattach it or use white glue to glue it on lower walk way . So the engine can be seen better

I have the blades attached , I still have the little more work tell they are finished . I need to work on the ramp , pallet and windows . Then Matt clear coat . I am really starting to enjoy the looks way its going .

I have the rotor head all finished . I also softened the weathering up a tad . I will be applying Alalcd Matt finish later today .

I have the bird Matt clear coated . I took off the tamiya tape that has been applied for 2 years . I was worried it would not come off, but to my surprise it released with no issue . I still have some smaller things to finish . I hope i can finish this now

I finally finished the CH-53 .2 1/2 plus years in this build .
Will I built . Engine , Blade Supports , Rotor head piping , The list is way to long . The rear end piping hinges . A skid with Cokes , Diet Cokes ,Mt Dews , Pepsi and water

Yes, this model is setting a standard. I have it marked as THE build log for when I start my own CH53
