Well, December and January so Far have been one of those Months.......

I am back and I was able to get back to this past weekend.
I know, bout time one more week....To try and finish.

I Put the rest of the outside together, masked it and primed it the add some preshading and then applied top and bottom colors.

@Chris thanks for the ideas . might have to dig around and see what I got. Might see if I can make something to make it look like an field repair

Continuing with the Storch, here I´m begening with the wing,

@Jeff: The boards are Elmer's tri-fold display boards. Which I got a while back from our local stationary warehouse to use as a background for taking pics of my models (can't take credit for it really as the idea was my wife's). But the results are usually pretty good. And thanks for the compliment regarding my build it is appreciated.

@Gary: Thanks buddy I appreciate the compliment and might I say that your works of late have been outstanding!

@Daniel: Thank you kind sir your compliments are gratefully received. The level of detail in the Tamiya Storch is just amazing I've recently built the 1/32 scale offering from Hasegawa and it doesn't have that level of detail!

Yes, it´s a very nice kit with lots of details.
And the new of having the glass of the cokpit just assembly to de fuselaje,

We have a little days to finished this campaign so running with the kit.

This morning I gave the prime,

After I´d given the primer I painted the panels to give the shade effects,

I managed to get this f*** top wing on those -struts.
To fix and level it was a really mess! Several times the one or the other strut came off and all fell together. And the more I glued the more it melts the styrene and the glue points . Respect to all of you who build Bi-Planes!!
Started also with the rigging (first ever try) which gave me the next fuss.
Hope I can bring it all together in the next 2 days...

This Bristol is more a kind of practising build on new techniques, i.e. masking&painting, self made decals, rigging with different materials etc.

I bought some EZline a month ago and find that it is great for simple aerials. It's quite stretchy and forgiving if you bump it. I plan to use it for rigging.

My first biplane will be the Roland CII Walfisch. If I ruin it, I have an Albatross D.V in reserve.

I used EZ-Line for the interstrut wiring of the wings and gear struts (see photo) and will use it again for the thinner interplane struts and aerial. When it fixes at the first try, it's great - but two or three times with CA will give some trouble. But it's far better then monofilament line, which I used for the center section struts.

Roland /Albatros are very nice choices.

BTW to give a bit more scale, I used Acupuncture needles for the doubled and stronger wire of the interplane struts...

After painting the panels with black to get the pre,shade effects, I paintes all the plane with RLM 76 and then on the upper side the RLM 79 dots,

Looks like some great stuff going on here but remember, only a couple of days left!
