Chris,
Gary is right, that really looks nice against a black background.
Note to self, get black backing for photos!

@Jeff: The boards are Elmer's tri-fold display boards. Which I got a while back from our local stationary warehouse to use as a background for taking pics of my models (can't take credit for it really as the idea was my wife's). But the results are usually pretty good. And thanks for the compliment regarding my build it is appreciated.
@Gary: Thanks buddy I appreciate the compliment and might I say that your works of late have been outstanding!
@Daniel: Thank you kind sir your compliments are gratefully received. The level of detail in the Tamiya Storch is just amazing I've recently built the 1/32 scale offering from Hasegawa and it doesn't have that level of detail!

Daniel,
That is a good looking Storch so far.
I agree, I like the detail in that Tamiya kit.
Might just have to get me one of those.

Wow, STUKA-Alarm and very nice progress and work guys!
Daniel:very quick and fine build on your Storch!
Chris: Congrats for finishing this beautiful Pipistrello. Great paint and build as well!
Jeff: Very well done paint job, hope to see the bird finished!
I managed to get this f*** top wing on those -struts.
To fix and level it was a really mess! Several times the one or the other strut came off and all fell together. And the more I glued the more it melts the styrene and the glue points . Respect to all of you who build Bi-Planes!!
Started also with the rigging (first ever try) which gave me the next fuss.
Hope I can bring it all together in the next 2 days...

Looks good, Thomas despite your troubles. I'm a bit concerned as I have enlisted in the Canvas Falcons II campaign.

Thanks Gary!
Expect trials and errors when you go for a Stringbag but don't loose patience and a steady hand
Looking at your builds, I'm sure you will succeed!
This Bristol is more a kind of practising build on new techniques, i.e. masking&painting, self made decals, rigging with different materials etc.

Thomas,
I bought some EZline a month ago and find that it is great for simple aerials. It's quite stretchy and forgiving if you bump it. I plan to use it for rigging.
My first biplane will be the Roland CII Walfisch. If I ruin it, I have an Albatross D.V in reserve.

I used EZ-Line for the interstrut wiring of the wings and gear struts (see photo) and will use it again for the thinner interplane struts and aerial. When it fixes at the first try, it's great - but two or three times with CA will give some trouble. But it's far better then monofilament line, which I used for the center section struts.
Roland /Albatros are very nice choices.
Thomas
BTW to give a bit more scale, I used Acupuncture needles for the doubled and stronger wire of the interplane struts...

My Hawker Fury is at 95%. No problem. Pics to come tomorrow. I need to do more weathering.
BTW - love the Bulldog.
A fine collection of tough old birds in this GB.
