Very good progress guys!
Here's just a sign of life - not much but a bit of dry fitting.
A good review of this kit with all its issues from our member Frederick Boucher [ JPTRR ] you can find

OK Since someone is already doing the Lublin R.XIII and the SM-81 is taken I am going with the PZL-23.
I will make some minor modifications to be once again in Polish markings.
I will start once I finish the water for my Pacific build.

The build marches on! Control surfaces and landing gear attached, landing gear proved to be a little difficult to attach! See my build log to see what I mean. Looking like an aeroplane now foks!

Well after contemplating not doing the camouflage I had at first picked out, I thought to hell with scale thickness and went full steam ahead! So here is where I'm at as of today, still got to paint the yellow theater markings and the brown squiggle pattern but it's getting there.

Just a question would the Airfix Swordfish Floatplane qualify for this campaign?

Can't see why not it is fixed landing gear.... just for water. Anyone else?

Thanks Casey, I might add some red brown as a counterpoint as there is some suggestion it may fade into the base colour when I clear coat for decaling.

Chris: impressive airbrush-action! Must took hours to complete. Maybe a good idea to give another "brownish" flair.
Sam: fantastic Stuka, very well done! Congrats for finishing. When it went back safely from the show, please give us some more photos.
Very nice progress guys! I'm not much far since I've been away for holiday and after that there was a lot of work. Hope to get back soon on my bench.

@Prickelhead: My thanks good sir! it's been a trial but it's given me confidence to take more of a crack at the Italian camo jobs. I have a SM.84 SM.79 Br.20 (All in 1/72nd) and various Cant's (also in 1/72nd) to have a crack at.
@Thomas: Still not sure whether to revisit the brown as that is the call out for this scheme but after various comments I do wonder whether it'll be lost in the clear coat. And here's hoping you get back to the modelling bench sooner rather than later.

The Airfix Swordfish is a great kit. Good choice. I built a wheeled version a while ago. The tolerances are tight, so build carefully. It was easy to fit the top wing - they have a neat scheme to help with this.
I'm looking forward to see your build.

As one beings , another ends
pics of my "final", certainly a learning curve, canopy is a dog's breakfast but the next will be better from lessons learned.

Here is the start of my PZL-23.
Some of the interior is scratch to make up for what the kit leaves out.
