Thanks for the encouraging words, guys! When I returned from the expo in Merchweiler yesterday evening, I had a look at my "problem child" (sorry AC/DC!) and meanwhile I think it didn't came out that bad for what problems the decal gave me. It's too late to change something now anyway. I'll carry on decaling tomorrow. Still have to unpack the boxes with the models and put them back on the shelf to catch some dust again.

Gary, the decal is not big, has maybe the size of a thumb nail. The swordfishes on my swedish Saab Draken last year are far bigger. I put them on in one piece and they didn't give me any hassle ....

"Miss June" had her first expo and was highly noticed by visitors and fellow modellers because of it's unusal camouflage. I'm really satisfied how the model came out. A P-47 M is a rare sight on model shows anyway. You mainly see a D, sometimes a N. So mine was quite an eye catcher ....

Torsten well done on turning heads at the model expo and outstanding work on the two P-47's.

I have a Tamiya jug to build for this campaign I suppose I better get off my chuff and do something about it.

Thanks for your kind feedback, Chris!
"Ole Cock" is very close to the end of the assembly line. All decals are on and external tank, guns and pitot tube are glued to the kit. Next and final step is airbrushing matt clear varnish. Photos follow ....

I was just taking photos of the finished P-47 M for my Assembly Line Thread and thought I should show you "Ole Cock" just before it gets its final flat clear coating. Will be finished later today. I hope ....

There are only 2 things left to add which are the postion lights and the rear view mirror.

Thanks for your feedback, folks! A turbulent week lies behind me and today I have half a day off to take some overtime hours. I still owe you the final photos of "Ole Cock". Here they are. The build was finished last Sunday evening. So this campaign - and my final campaign 2016 - is finished for me now. I take some better photos soon for my Assembly Line Thread and the campaign gallery.

Torsten,
Outstanding. The finished Razorback Jug certainly is up to your high Museum standards. Well done my friend.

Thanks for your comments, guys! Though the Bubbeltop has a cool camo I'm particularly satisfied with how the Razorback turned out (except for the nose art .... ) After all the Razorback is still "the real T'bolt", isn't it? Guess, tomorrow I'll have some time to take better photos on my kitchen table.

Thanks Damian! It was also a pleasure for me. I planned to build 2 T'bolts this year so this campaign came to the right time.
