By the way, does anyone out there have the original blank Hanger Queen ribbon without any number on it? If so, could you please send it to me? I want to be able to create new ones as we go along.

Thanks!!

Michael, nope but I have 2-5 in my profile if you want to work from one of those. Somehow I missed HQ1

Mike, I am in!

I do not know with what yet. Could be the Eduard 1/48 Bf 110. But I also have a number of resin kits that needs to be finished.

We will see

Based on my abject failure to finish anything to 2016, I've got plenty of candidates for this year...

Oh look it's my official procrastination campaign yet again. I swear one day I'll complete something other than a bunch of Hangar Queens.

Until then, going to enter my Zoukei Mura Ho 229 for this year's event.

Quick change the title from Hanger to Hangar before you get flamed.
Also for us professional Hangar Queen members, need to find a way to move all our progress posts (well at least the last one) from last year's campaign to this year's campaign

Cheers

Hello, MARK/MIKE/MICHAEL/JESPER/JONATHAN/PAUL/ROBBIE:

I have 26 Queens if anyone needs to work on something all I need to do is choose from that group(an impossible task for someone who did finish them in the first place during a campaign)

Perhaps the Mods could change the title to "Hangar" so we don't look like dopes?

Either that or put a new rule in that all builds must be shown suspended from the ceiling of your man-cave !

I picked out two a/c that fit the bill for HQ7 that I would like to finish out of the others.

Yes, once again I'm signing for this years edition also...So HQ2 not completed; HQ3 2 successful projects completed; HQ4 not completed; HQ6 miserably failed...Guess this time I just have to finish some Shelf Queen or bust.
I think FineMolds 1/48 Hayabusa leftover from the rising sun campaign is the chosen one.

Cheers,
Pedro

I can as well sign up as well, even when I have miserably failed every campaign I participated in for the last 3 years

Let's give it a try, i got so many queens in my hangar that I could start a beauty contest

Drabslab,
My US$0.02, Pick some low hanging fruit and polish it off.

Have you got something ALMOST done, that you can avoid AMS/reference rabbit holes/aftermarket hunting and gathering/ and or new kit 'shiny new thing' syndromes?

We don't judge how close it was to done, if it was not done and then you say it is, it counts!

That is an excellent plan!

Now I "only" have to manage to avoid the AMS/reference rabbit holes/aftermarket hunting and gathering/ and or new kit 'shiny new thing' and a whole range of other syndromes I am suffering from

OK, I'm in. And it's on. Mike, Drab, Bob and anyone else what we need if 'group therapy': I'll show you mine if you show me yours. Post your hanger queens here by 9PM PST Monday Jan 9, group or individual pic OK. Add a description of the kit, what you've done and what's holding you up. ON Wednesday, we'll each pick one to start finishing and tell everyone what the next steps will be. If you brave, you can even give a date for when that step will be finished.

I've got plenty to choose from, if I can find them. An F4F, F8F, 3 P-51s, A PV-1, 1 or 2 P-61s, an A-7D, an F-16, an F-94, RF-4C, P-63, T-34, P-400, SC-1 and a Boomerang. And that's not counting the cars, armor, ships and RR projects that are stalled.

What cha say, anyone in?

That gauntlet, I'll pick it up..
Funny enough, I've been posting some shelf/hangar queens over on FB lately so I've got pics. It'll take me a bit to get then from there to here, but yeah. I'm in.

Holy Depressing, Batman. Yeah sure I had a few hanger queens, a dozen tops, I thought. I haven't touched them all, but I'm up to 23 aircraft alone. There's at least 3 armor projects, 3 ships and 3 cars as well. There's even a couple that got started almost 20 years ago. About the only redeeming thing I found were a bunch of model RR kits that my dad wrapped up and put away, unfinished back in 1952!!!!!!

Mark, you are aging me with those from 1952. If I counted correctly I also have 23 unfinished projects, when time permits Ill take a photo post and give some sorta story for each.
