Well I may not be on for the next couple of days so I'll take this chance of wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and may Santa fill your stockings with everything you want. No doubt we will have the usual rubbish movies on the telly on Christmas day but hopefully I shall be too FTB (full to busting) with food and drink to notice. All the best everyone .....cheers

Its 9:24pm and there's no one in the place. . . Hammocks are freshly washed. Cellar is restocked. Kitchen has been cleaned and scrubbed. Dining room is sparkling and dance floor is polished. Movies rotated. I think some light snacks and "Band of Brothers" series is the ticket.

Right. Then I guess it's time to try Vat 69 for the first time, and keep up with Dix.
Just don't try that thing while getting nostalgic over Dallas. It'll just send you to Lala-land...

Terri (and every other Canuck out there), congrats on the junior hockey gold!
But please, next year, when we take on each other in the final again, please keep your hands of our keeper. Please...
Still looking forward to 2010, though. The teenagers really play more catchy than the old men of NHL!

That's allright Terri. We can't all be perfect. For myself, I tend to get red cheeks when I eat to much nachos.

Sniff sniff alright who has been cooking and did not clean up the spilt cheese on the burner?
Posted: Friday, January 09, 2009 - 10:43 PM UTC
Nachos, salsa, sour cream, cheese mmmmmm. Seeing as we have a juke box and DVD why not a library. I will contribute Faith is the Hunter (Ernest K Gann), Chickenhawk (Bob Mason), The Big Show (Pierre Closterman), Sagittarius Rising, (Cecil Lewis) and the Cannibal Queen (Steven Coonts).

Chickenhawk (Bob Mason).
Now that's a good book. Highly recommended addition to the library.
Can i add Bird Song (Sebastion Faulks) and my collection of Neil Gaiman short stories

Ok, I admit, kitchens are not my normal habitat. I may have messed up, byt I will do better. Now, do we have a sandblaster and handgrinder here somewhere.....
Use hearing- and eyeprotection around the kitchen for a while, folks!
By the way, I put "the Shepherd" by Frederick Forsyth in the library. Lovely little story! It can also be found as radio theatre http://www.cbc.ca/asithappens/media/archive/shepherd.ram" TARGET="_blank">here so you can listen to it while I repent in the kitchen.

Ooooh, nothing really. Terri's found an old jukebox, we're building a library and - ehhm - I'm cleaning the kitchen.
Most things are confusing, so it's business as usual, I guess. Welcome back, by the way.... Gone far and long?
