That must be the origing of the saying "if you can walk away from the wreck it's a landing, not a crash".
Now, can somebody help me unwind myself out of this ball of firehose, please.
Tony
I'll give ya that, but what if it involves "climbing".....down. I spose that would count as ok.?
This cafe sounds nice...the given music, alot of the foods, but I don't recall seeing any good dark beers or irish soda breads...perhaps I missed it......
-I say I have two kids- one son & one daughter...my wife says she has three- one son ,one daughter and one husband.
...and don't tell yourself you can't do it....it'll just take longer then

Wow what a weekend !! Great food , great people and folk a like . Excellent movies and the weather was fantastic !!!!
Bod , I guess that Dutch pilot needs better judgement when landing . He park it in the wrong tree ! Should have been on the other side of the aerodrome , Where he park is for VIP"S only .
Well Stephen , sorry about that but needed a place to put the extra equipment and that was the best place where no one would mess with it . However it didn't stop Tony from playing with the hose ( one of his childhood fantasy I guess ) . The equipment has been removed and returned to the fire dept .
Did any one get Tony uncoiled from the hose ? Or is he still out back ?

Too late again, Doh! Mind that plane in the tree is a nice addition to the cafe.
Sorry to hear about the move Terri, hope it goes better back at home.
My course is complete and I am now a qualified Instructor on Motor gliders but the weather was atrocious, 30kt winds, rain and thunderstorms. Last night started work on the strutter again and even with microfilm lost half the cockades although salvaged most of the rest of the decals. Used the F2B cockades on the strutter thinking I'll get more, then horror, noone does WW1 cockades in 1/48 scale
Worry about that later

Nice to see you pop your head in Andrew ! Congrats on the completion of your course
Don't let the decal issue get you down , I'm not sure if any one makes then in 48 scale . Have never seen then . Have you tried printing your own ?

Tried once a couple of years ago but paper and ink were not compatible. If all else fails I may do the Biff as 1920's Iraq in all white, I may have decals to match that. Sits back and pours a large G and T with plenty of ice, cheers

I'm never cheap with the Baileys, I just mix it to the right shade. I don't mix with white spirit though, but brown. Preferably from Tullamore. Here you go, aviatrix, nice to see you home after your adventure

Well, I guess old Humphrey said it best concerning interesting friendships. So tonights show will be . . . (drum roll on trash can here) . . . Casablanca! The one with the classic lines spoken, and those which never was spoken. And the fabuolous Ingrid of course. (sigh)
Let's rename the cafe to "Rick's" tonight, and hand out dry Martinis to everyone.

John Candy? Me like John Candy! He even spoke swedish once, in splash, but I won't translate. That would not be PC even here
Good luck in the new space Terri, but don't OD on styrene now. It might backfire.
