I'm in for "taken" too. But Andrew seems to have gotten too far with it.

Can somebody in the neighbourhood make sure he doesn't go postal down there after this movie?

By the way, I met a hedgehog the other night. That don't happen too often. He didn't say much, but did show that summer is here! (Misdsummer is but three weeks off, boys and girls. Lets go pick strawberries)

Andrew in Paris ? are you sure that is a good thing here . I mean with all the fine pasteries and wine , more so the wine ! Not to mention the French Woman there he could go MIA for more then just a few days !!!! But then again if we went looking for him , would fined him in a hobby shop drooling over then latest kit's and acessories .......................................acting like a hungry dog who hasn't eatten in a few weeks !!

Enjoy your Trip Andrew ! We will keep a spot warm for you ...............

Summer time there now hey Tony ! Picking strawberries I will join you on that , however ; not sure how many will make it to the basket but there should be enough at least to wip up a strawberry pie or two ................................................

Man I really miss the building here . Starting to go through the withdraws here big time ! Don't know how much longer I can do this for before I really lose it . Just might fined me in the Hobby shop acting like a mad dog !!!!!!!! I'm planning my next on line build though on how I'm going to do this one . It was Stephen who put the idea there . Will go with my Fokker right now .........It will be the Koster kit of the SSW . DIII . Don't see many vac kit's getting built and I always wanted to try one . Lots of scratchbuilding , a might fine challenge

You'll go vacuum, Terri? Just don't let it get to your head !

Anyway, I'm going to follow that build, cause I've got a vacuum SAAB B 18 in my plans.

Now ease down in a chair, breathe slowly, and get the LHS-deleria out of your system. We're all here to help you. By the way, any signs of automatic fire in Paris, or have Andrew just gone there for the wine and foods?

A Saab B 18 , what scale ?

Maybe don't fellow to close on that build Tony , will be my frist one doing . It was a kit that I got on line . Very nice kit even though some of the white metal parts will be replaced with better items . Like the engine for starters . I have the Eduard casting when they first released the kit , built one with another still in the stash .I might just order one from Copper States Models . The guns will need replacing as well . Tom's Model Works will take care of that . The PE parts in the kit are very nice , but the brass is very soft and thin . But that's enough about this until I have a few more stuff which I need , like wet and dry sanding paper , sheet of glass to glue the paper on to !

Whew. I don't have the SAAB just yet, and I've recently realized it's not vacuum. It's resin, from Kora, and to a houmungous prize for a 1:72. €65 would be roughly $80, I guess.

I'm not sure it's worth two Tam P-51's or two Has Bf 109's (or four of any Academy 1:48). So it looks more and more like the sole Hampden we tested, or a Ju 86. You know the one with the little scenic sh*thouse hanging below.

Well, I haven't bought it, so I have no idea, and I don't think I will buy one either. It's just too darn expensive for a 1:72 bomber, no matter how odd it is.

That's no way of getting ahead, now is it?

Tony.

Tony you think that is bad , It was last year which I pick up Eduards kit of the Airco DH-2 profile pack on E-vil bay for 90 bucks !!! Spent 4 years looking for the kit and no one would part with it . My friend Bob in the States did send me the non profilepack

Was the kit worth it ! Every penny ........then again I also had the extra cash at the time .

Hmmmmm......what kinda float planes you got?!

I'll 2nd the pizza idea...make mine deep dish please!
How about the 1st release "MadMax"...I get a kick out of the cycles because it reminds me of our bike group long ago...cept we dressed better...I think we dressed better{-probably not!}
2nd choice would be some "old" Bond flicks...the ones with sean connery in them...my favorite bond portrayer.
3rd choice would be "those magnificent men and they're flying machines"...I just like the planes!

I'm in my new place !!! Feels good to have a place that I can call home once more . Now comes the fun part , the un packing of stuff . Work bench will be set up today . Won't have the same amount of space I did before but that will change in the near future .

Bob for float planes this is what I have which I can recall of hand ...............

Eduards Hanriot HD -2
Flashbacks W-29
Copper State Models W-12
Copper State Models Rumpler B6
Spec/Hobby Tabloid
Spec/Hobby Sclinders
Eduards Sopwith Baby
Pegesus Albatros W-4
Eduards Albatros W-4

Like I said , no touchy , touchy !

Why not watch all of the movies ? All are very good and will entertain as for so time or until Tony starts pushing meat balls around with his nose again !

No pushing meatballs here. But I've got some leftover field rations from a weekend in "enemy" uniform. Anybody cares for a green bag of goo? If we eat in darkness it's rather tasty, but if you can see it, it's....ähmmm.... not!

Nice to have you within walls again Terry. Living in a box can wear you down.

Thanks Bob and Tony ! Still , don't touch my kit's !

Work bench is all set up once more , which is smaller then what I'm used to . Went from 8 feet down to 3 feet of working space . In the future that will change but for now it will have to do . I even sat down last night and started with rib taping on the Fokker and was able to start the wood grain on my Pfalz D.IIIa for the stripes campaign . The smell of the plastic and gluesalong with the paints is like being in heaven !

I was very brave today and open the boxes which built kits were place in months ago . With all the handling and moving around only one was broken . The floats on the hanroit HD-2 got it , but a very easy fix . No rigging lines were harmed at all !!!!

Bonsoir mes amis, a glass of that Beaujolais please, Paris is expensive and I found no hobby shops, but it was beautiful, food was good, and wine better. Steak in Rochfort sauce, mmmmmmm. Seriously, I went looking for a French aircraft for the French campaign, failed. Did find a pic of an exceedingly stripy, black & yellow Lysander in Canadian target towing markings, currently residing in a museum at Hamilton Airport. Guess who has a Lizzie in the stash, Kit is rubbish and will need custom lettering but could be fun. Whatever happened to the range of kits produced many years ago depicting the aircraft featured in "Those Magnificent Men...." a Demoiselle or Antoinette would solve my French Campaign problem

Gee Bob that would be great if you could post some up-date pic's of her . Then we could all stand back and go oooooooooo...ahhhhhhhh and then you get to stand back and answer all of our questions about the build ! Sounds like a fair trade to me .

Seems that our beloved Tony and Stephen are missing in action !!!! Stephen I'm sure is really tieing one over with the all girl ground grew which would explain why hanger A is lock down tight .

Tonights film(s) will be Die hard 1-4 . Some one else can do the cooking for tonights menu ................
