Oops. Messed that up, didn't I?
Now, let's see. How about a whole roasted wild boar piglet? Population is growing 'round here, so get your 12-gauge, load up with slugs and bring a heavy torch and a pair of night vision goggles and we'd be allright by tomorrow morning. We'll have to postpone the movie a few days though, until we can put the pig on the roast.
In less than a month moose season begins. Big steak then perhaps?

Good call Stephen. If you go with the "spandau-doppel-schwein-schmeißer" we won't have to use cutlery. The boar will be cut to hamburgers directly.
Everybody else stay behind Stephen please!

Jeez Terri. Don't ever come to Sweden then. We had a secretary of justice some years ago by the name "Gun". If you pronounced her swedish name with an english accent it was "Gun Hells-week". You don't need to use death penalty with that name...

I'll still come to Sweden , but the local pub sounds to be the best place where a girl can stay out of trouble .

I got a few new ones too terri, but no float planes{sci fi/aircraft/cars}. I need to stay away from ebay for a while...just paid for 4 auctions this morning alone!!!!!! I did score the 1/32 revell stuka...the guy sent me the kit from another auction - same thing, stuka B model, just older. ,I found it was missing the instrument panel and the decals were shot, so he sent a full refund...I paid less than the origonal auction to get a pe panel/interior and new "romanian" decals, plus the kit.
I agree, it's that time again folks...the kids go back to school today{half day, but it's a start}.
My son is the only boy so far in his class of 8 kids{P4}...there's supposed to be another boy coming but not as of yet. I told him to find a new girlfriend today since he lost his summercamp girlfriend to the start of school...he's 4 and she was a 15yr old, class helper.

Summer is not over yet! Summer is a state of mind! Sun is shining and the lakes are still warm. You will still have to see my hairy legs, even though I've stepped over from halflong shorts to overlong shorts. Still sandals though, and white stripes on the feet where the velcroflaps go.
Blueberry season is here. Who's in for a picking picnic? We'll bring cold chichen wings, salad, white riesling from Rüdesheim, french cheese galore, white bread from greece, tartan blanket for the nap and nobody has to drive home. We walk by compass and since 17% of the ground is covered in blueberries (Info from McDonalds tv-show !!) this year, we don't have to walk far. Blueberry pie when we come home.
Points are given to anyone who sees deer, moose, fox or wolf. Points are drawn from anyone who sees wild boar. Gold medal is given to anyone who sees a lynx! Let's go!

No shooting allowed, so just be cool Terri. Raspberries might be a bit out of season, but with a sharp eye some will definately be there. And since rain has been pouring lately chanterelles might be in stock too.
I wonder if we can hijack a rowing boat and plunder some crawfish tins too.....

Everthing is still green here but there is a late summer feel to the air. Weather has not been very good, but it's warm. Like the Pfalz article Terri, your Q-tip trick is good and reminds me of the way I used to rig model ships. Been in Scotland this last week so need to eat simple, grilled Scottish salmon, boiled potatoes with butter, green beans, broccoli, carrots. All followed with fresh Scottish raspberries and whipped cream.

Yo Andy. Good to see you back. I'll skip the prawns because of allergy, but the rest looks hot and nice.
I'm getting used to the pink really. It reminds me of the red sock the ended up in my white wash once. Lotsa pink t-shirts and gym-socks in those days.
I was over the straits yesterday, so todays evening snack will be danish thorough-red hotdogs with ketchup, mustard, fried and dried onions, served in paper with bread at the side. We'll flush that down with odd danish beers, like Wiibroe and Harboe. But first a shot of Gammeldansk bitter.

Action! How about "Gotcha" from the eighties, with Anthony Edwards and Linda Fiorentino. That would be perfect together with "apfelstrudel" as dessert.
If we need even more action - why not any Chuck Norris movie, and a Chuck-Norris-Facts race afterwards.
"Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door."
