Don't tell Gaston, it's sure to be fatally flawed I might get one even though it isn't in 1/32

Then I pre-emptively invoke the Gaston Rule.

Well one thing for sure, given how good the old Monogram kit was, this was not the most needed subject of all those they could have picked... In several most wanted kit surveys, and I can hardly remember the 1:48th Devastator being mentionned once in hundreds of posts, except a handful of times for 1:32 scale... But then, if they base their research on 36 year old moulds, perhaps they should keep to less popular scale/subject combinations... Given the work evident in their P-61, these guys seems VERY concerned about saving on research costs, as I will soon make evident (and yet they did not skip for that on the FW-189, or on many other aspects of quality, even on the P-61)... Gaston Sight unseen, you are throwing this kit into the same basket as the P-61. That's either very brave or extremely foolhardy. How about we wait until we see this kit before making any judgements?

Well, I have seen the CAD, but I have to say that - judging from the box - the Devastator will be fatally flawed! They never flew at the shown height and very likely not in that direction. Not even mentioning the wrong weather! Guido PS.: Be noted that we had the whole plane designed new, but threw everthing out and copied the Monogram kit only to annoy GM.

Considering I havent seen the Monogram kit in a decade it is a needed subject (Im not an ebay fan).
