1/32 NORTH AMERICAN P-51D MUSTANG
This legendary WWII piston engine fighter is the latest addition to Tamiya's ever-expanding 1/32 Scale Aircraft Series. Thorough research of actual examples of the aircraft has resulted in a highly accurate reproduction of its iconic form, including its radiator intake and laminar flow wing. Offering clever engineering and an astounding level of detail, this kit is the quintessential model of the quintessential P-51 Mustang.
This kit can be modelled in both flight and landed configurations. The undercarriage legs are held in place by small screws, with the landing gear doors held on by magnets. Due to the complexity of the main landing gear doors, a closed door section replaces the open doors, with a one piece part. Replacing the parts between configurations is simple and quick. The canopy can also be opened or closed.

This 1/48 scale model accurately reproduces the Stuka's rugged form, including its inverted gull wings, fixed landing gear, and large nose-mounted radiator. Two crew member figures and a bomb loading cart are included to allow a simple diorama straight from the box.
