Italeri are planning to release a new tool Hurricane Mk 1 in 1/48th.
Hurricane Mk 1
The new tool kit will be a PRM boxing.
"The PRM (Photografic
Reference Manual) is an
interesting element for
the modelers that are
looking for greatest
perfection and attention
to historical details.
Color profiles, photographs
of the period, detailed
descriptions, analysis of the
details through “walk-around”
photos, to better contribute
to the realization
of a scale model more
realistic and more “in line”
with the original one."

The Hurricane will come with 5 marking options, and the Photographic
Reference Manual.
No date of it's release has been given.

Mmmmm, I won't be getting this if it's £30, but if someone else would like to give me a challenge and order masks for the box art scheme I'm game. I'll add a further 5% off to the 20% that Kitmaker Network members get to the first one to order :-) [email protected]

Hi all, I have received mine today. My first impressions are very positive. The decal sheet is impressive and printed by Cartograf. I have started to write a review already. Jean-Luc

It would be nice to have two reviews... Jean-Luc [/quote] Hi there Absolutely. One of you may well pick up on aspects the other misses, and vice versa. Alternative views are really useful in forming a balanced opinion of a kit. (For instance, I'm currently tinkering with a short-run kit that has been very heavily criticised in some forums for bad fit (I won't name it yet), but on the basis of a test-fit it doesn't seem at all bad to me - I guess it's down to what one expects from a kit of that nature...) All the best Rowan
