Hi Marc,

I've been following your build, first on Hyperscale and then here, as I seek much needed preparation for my own build. So, I've now joined Kit Maker Network, the better to stalk your work. And now it turns out that my first question is wonderfully prosaic -- where do I find the looong reply to Lance noted in your last post?

TIA,

Val

PS, When I try to access you website, AVG goes berserk!

Val, 1st let em thank you for the compliments.

The long answer is HERE

What is AVG? I assume it's not the Flying Tigers Some sort of anti-virus thing right? Can you tell me exactly what messages you are getting? I am have a hell of a time figuring out what going on since it does not happen to everyone and my anti-virus software gives it the OK.

Thanks so much Jullian.

Been real busy lately and trying to find some bench time. I finally did get a bit in and just about have things wrapped up. A few tiny bits and bobs to add... flares, radiator pipe...

Here are a few pics while i try to get started on the saw horse and tables for the base.

And a real heart felt thank you to you all... for watching and guiding me in this endeavor. I think I am hooked on these rag wing guys.

Ohhh – that is a stunning build Marc – you've certainly used all the potential of a great kit and done it greater still – Congartulations on finishing, and getting hooked

Looking forward to more builds to come!

Absolutely beautiful Marc; you worked through some pretty significant setbacks and have hit the finish line with truly impressive results. Looks a great deal better then the "crash diorama" you mentioned earlier for sure!
Congratulations on a beautiful build.

Cheers,
Lance

Thanks so much for the compliments and sorry for the late response. I have my own home inspection business and I am busier than a one arm paper hanger. And I have not been able to say that for a long time.

Thanks all for the comments.

A happy belated Father’s Day to all you dads out there. And a great Father's Day it was. A day of relaxation, dinner with family... and from my mom... instructions to buy the kit of my choice as my gift. I've been to the WNW site already but can't decide. I am thinking of doing a "D.Va Redux"

The 1st thing for the day was to complete this piece. All finished up. The bench, sawhorse and tool box are all made form basswood. The tools are from h http://vectorcut.com/accessoriesO.htm Laser cut paper that's just simply amazing. I don’t have a magnifier strong enough to see if it can be read but there is writing in the depressions in the tools handles. The ground work is a mat from http://www.model-scene.com/

Question for Stephen. Anything that needs to be done for a completion for the build?

Marc,
WOW! Magnificent finish. The Vectorcut touch is really nice, I have some and the mind races.
Congratulations on a truly beautiful result.

Cheers,

A most impressive build! The only thing I would change is the lay of the prop laminations.
