Nick, we are here for you. So have you started the rigging yet?

You picked a really hard first aircraft. If I had tried this one, I am sure it would have ended up against the wall. I really sugest you try something easier for your next one. Maybe a Fokker Dr.I or D.VII. I did Eduards Fokker E.V. It was a great build that really is builder friendly. All of these have minimal rigging.

Nick,
LOL I wholeheartedly agree about the Beatles. But as far as best albums go,I'd have to go with Rubber Soul or Revolver as thier best works.

Nick,

Excellent progress. This is not an easy kit to build. Way to see it through.

If you like the Beatles, you will have to see the Monty Python Parody "The Ruttles".

I saw the Beatles in 1965 at Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington Minnesota. They put on a great show as I recall. I was an usher and actually was paid to see them!

Mark,
You're one lucky fellow for sure.Never had the chance to see The Beatles live, but I've seen Ringo's All Stars twice and McCartney once. Wish I had the chance to see John Lennon and George Harrison too.

Yeah the Ruttles was a great parody, got on DVD plus most of Monty Python as well.

No favorite album for me. They are all good. If I had to pick one, it would be the Red Album. And yes, they are the greatest.

A little update

Hope you like the oil dirts (like the real one, the first engines in aircraft history (in this occasion a Rolls Royce Falcon) where losing a lot of oil )

In the end, I'll apply a layer of gloss varnish espesially on the oils, they can't look matt

I have cleaned a little bit the oil and I add some dirt (MIG Productions rubbel dust) on the landing gear wheels

It is coming along nicely Nick: The weathering is convincing, and it looks like you are making some headway on the rigging aspect of as well.

Keep those photo's of progress coming.

Cheers

Nick, glad to see you are on the final stages of your build. It is looking good. I like oil stains on these early guys, but never tried to do it myself. I like what you did and will try to do it on my next build. Give yourself a pat on the back.
