Good luck with your new build Nick.
I'm sure you will enjoy building a biplane, they are challenging but very rewarding. You will learn a few new tricks along the way, but in the long term, they will help you with future builds.
Cheers mate and happy modelling

Very nice. Have you decided which profile you will model?

I've got that one as well, just need time to build it. I fancy one of the white or half white Palistinian front aircraft or even I believe some were used up to 1931 in Iraq and painted silver.

I am a fan of the Roden kit because it has the whole engine and has a better nose profile.

Keep posting Nick. May I suggest to use blank background, even if it just some sheets of paper
when taking pictures. It'll help the camera focus better. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Hey Nick,
It's easy.
1. Always use your flash.
2. That little symbol on the selector button on the back of the camera, sort of looks like a tulip?... press that. That puts the camera into Macro mode and allows for close focus.
Cheers,
Hugh
PS. Oh, and always set for Auto unless you are prepared to play with Aperture settings to increase your depth of field.
