Hi Terri:
As has been mentioned before using PE on the WNW kits, ensure a proper fit with trimming. Good luck and I am looking forward to your pics.

Thanks Mark . Form what I have read and viewed online builds the parts are very tight fitting .
I have started on the engine cutting out the parts and getting them cleaned up . I am just deciding on whether to redo all of the frame work . I do have one small issue though ! Work bench is to small for working on two 32 scale kits !

If your work room is anything like mine, you can just move Blue to the bedroom and you will increase your space. (I have 5 helpers)

I hope you thinned the walls before attaching the PE. As Eduards old slogan says it will be a "Tight fit".

Terri,
I have this kit in the stash also. I'll be watching your build, especially since you're using PE.

Thanks Guy's !
I test fitted the floor and instrument panel with an excellent fit . Haven't tried other parts for the interior yet . I hoping if things go well for rest of the week I should have other componets assembled and test fiited in prep for the paint . Not overly happy with the spark plug wires . Even with the surfaces build up with paint or superglue , they still wont have the right effect IMO so the will be made from wire and do some other plumbing , wire as well . While trying not to let AMS take over to much . Would like to try and stay with in the box and PE parts .

Still making progress with cleaning up the parts and test fitting , so no haven't forgotten about this build . My focus for this week will be getting some colour on the parts and bring her to life .
To aid in rigging the cockpit once the two halves have been glued together . Leave off the seat cushion ....this will give that little extra room and be easier to see what one is doing .And the instrument panel as well . Once the rigging is done , then glue in the seat followed by the instrument panel .

Hello every one ! Here is where I stand on this project so far .
The instrument panel isn't glued in place yet , still have to do the control rigging and the seat with it's belts . Cockpit combing is still under the paint brush waiting for it's final wood graining . The engine is just resting in place to see how it will look , and it looks cool !
Istill need to dull coat and add a few washes to bring out the detail more .

Terri,
Excellent work so far!! Glad I had a head start, I would have been scared off by your righteous stuff.

I may have to go back to that other, later conflict.
Looking forward to more!

Me , scare you away ? Never I wouldn't be able to do these righteous stuff with out watching you guy's !
I did make a small boo-boo though . When drilling the holes in the seat part for the control wires . I didn't make them big enough for the wire to pass through them . So I will have to find some thing else which I can use for this . The cockpit combing is finished . Just have to finish up the those control wires and start gluing once more . .......

Terri, looks great so far. I swear in the time it takes me to rscribe panel lines on one wing of one airplane, you build three kits.
So, is it done yet?...how about now?...now?
