So I've just gone through all the postings again (getting pretty jazzed about this one) and didn't see any Israeli Spits listed. Did I miss anyone? I have several of the 1/32 Pacific Coast MkIXs and plan to do all 5 different IAF paint schemes:
Green primer (first IAF Spit)
Green/Grey (actually finished this one!)
Bare metal (blue/white striped rudder)
Brown/blue/grey (yellow/black striped rudder)
Black (Weizman's Spit, still flying)
I know I'm jumping all over the place, focus is an issue for me in these things. But if no one else is doing one I might have to go with one of these. What do you all think?

Wow Michael, your planning on doing five 1/32 spits in Israeli markings. I say Wow again. Thats great, Spits were flown by a lot of nations after WWII so the more varied the schemes in this campaign the better.
All the best.

Tim,
Your faith in me is inspiring, but unfortunately may be a bit misplaced. I know better than to think I'm going to get all four (already finished the green/grey one) done for this campaign! I'll be lucky if I finish ONE
But I do think I'll do one of the others. Which one would you all like to see of the ones I listed? Help me out here, clearly making decisions is not one of my strong points

I'm in. I've got two spits in the stasgh right now, a Italieri Vb in 1/72 and an Airfix IXe/XVIe in 1/48. Not sure which I'm going to do but it's leaning towards the Vb as I've never done an early Spit before.

Is it too late to join this campaign. I have an Airfix 1/24 Mk Vb. Any suggestions as to which colour scheme would be useful as I don't want to do the Jan Sumbach one as lots of these are around.

Hi all.
Thanks Bob for helping out Andrew. Just a reminder, the campaign starts this coming Saturday, but feel free to join in after the start as the campaign is running for six months. Some of you doing 1/24 builds may need a little longer. I have got my Academy Spit XIVe and various aftermarket bits and bobs ready to go for the start.
All the best.

I'd like to join this campaign Tim, but I'm afraid I wouldn't have time to finish my build. I have a couple of Spits in the stash and none in the display cabinet.
