Hi folks
Alright then I propose a spitfire/seafire campaign, any mark, any airforce, any scale, OOB or using as many resin, white metal, PE extras, etc. as you like. In other words it's pretty open. It has to start some time in 2011 as there are so many campaigns this year.

I might be interested in joining this campaign, if I have any time to model because of a 1/1 project arriving in July...

Hi all
Excellent response so far chaps. I think I may go large scale with this one 1/32 or even 1/24. Never built anything in 1/24 before.

Hi all
Thanks for the positive response so far. I think that is nine showing interest, one more and I will do a submission. I have indicated starting some time in 2011. Would you prefer starting in the first, second, third or fourth quarter of the year. The first suites me but I am open to suggestions.

Hi all
Anyone looking for inspiration to sign up [if you need it to build a Spit] have a look at Arjen [AMDonker] build progress on his Hasegawa's 1/32 Spitfire Mkl in Aeroscale. It is superb!

Hi James
Welcome aboard. Ive not done the Tamiya Mkl, but if it's as good as Tamiya's Mk V you should really enjoy the build.

Hi Paul
Have you decided on the finish of your protype spit Mkl or is it to early to say. K5054 seems to have had a few paint and non paint jobs applied to it. The yellow/greenish etched finish looks pretty challenging.

hi tim,

not sure yet but i'm leaning towards the light bluey grey with the bare metal cowl which was one of the early finishes,i was looking thru my paints the other day i think i've got something to do the job.
infact i've got everything to start this, the kit ,decals, paint and resin bits...........just need a start date now!

Hi all
Thank you all for your interest so far. I am just in the process of writing a submission for this campaign as there seems to be almost enough people to get the campaign submitted. I thought a start date of 01/01/2011 would give people a bit of time to be ready and think about their respective projects. Off course I am open to your opinions, if you want to start earlier or later.

Hi Bruce
You are more than welcome to join us particularly as it's your first campaign {if the campaign is a go]. We will do our very best to get you through it, so if you need any advice, dont be afraid to ask. Any ideas on a particular Mark of Spit you would like to do?
