I have the undercarriage and wings on and rigged........

Here are the fishing line bungee cords that were hard to see before they were painted.........

and a close up of the engine and the area under the center wing............

more to come,

With every up-date this project just gets better and better ! Well done so far Mark , rigging is fantastic . Really like the bungee cord effect on the landing gear .
How was the use of the wing jig which comes in the kit ? Would you use this again ?

Thanks Terri. I appreciate the encouragement!

The inclusion of the wing jig is a nice touch, however, you'll notice I didn't use the rubber band as indicated in the instructions. That would really tear up the lozenge decals on the upper surface of the lower wing. I modified them to stand up by themselves by glueing supports to the bottoms of the jigs and putting supports under the lower wings to raise them up just a little so they touch the bottom of the jig (not much was needed). I would suggest glueing the wing struts and only the front cabane struts then add the rear cabane struts after they are dry. Watch out for that rear cabane strut attachment point under the center wing near the sliding vent for the radiator. I had to move the attachment points inward a couple of mm so they would clear the sliding door.

The would suck having the lozenge decals get ruined by the elastic bands , thanks for the tip on that . I would have found out the hard way . These jigs just might work on the BlueMax kit and have other applications . Most definitely worth hanging on to .

Also noted is the order of placing the struts . Save some frustration in the end .
