not a friend of revell with the raised panel lines and poor fit issues.i would get a Hasegawa the extra money is worth saving the time and effort.Hasegawa has there fit issues but nothing compared to revell.

All is not lost, I popped open the box this morning and noticed that the parts I can see in the bag, haven't opened it yet, have recessed panel lines. The bag sez "Molded in Poland" so it could be a cross kit from ROG or Hase. Here's hopeing!

Justin,
OK, here's the deal. Years ago I started a HSGW 1/72 Black Bunny Tomcat. It was taped up with all sorts of tapes and then painted. I wasn't happy with the way the paint hit the model so it has been shelved for years. With tape on it. Recently a descussion on the "Pile of Doom" prompted me to drag it out and take off the tape. Not pretty.
So here's the deal, can I use this kit for this campaign? It will be taken back on the paint and redone. Still lots of work to get it to the original scheme.
Still might do another one considering I bought that evil Tomcat book by Danny Coreman. Lots of things inside to cram into a Tomcat kit.

Tomcat build? I'm in!
In Navy speak, I would be a nugget! I'm just getting back into the hobby after 5+ years break (work/travel/family).
Will be 1/72 and probably either a Revell or Airfix F-14 but will try my best to get a Hase/Fujimi maybe!
Great campaign idea, really looking forward to taking part.
Happy modelling.
