oky doky...here is what I have been able to come up as far as airframes and scale and builders....
Red4- 1/48 Mig-15
05Sultan- 1/32 Mig-17
Yoni Lev- 1/48 Mig-21,Mig-29, and Mig 19 in 1/100 (Possibles)
Emeritus- 1/48 Mig-21 Bis
litespeed- 1/48 Mig-21
Armando- 1/72 Mig-17
Angry_Ensign- 1/32 Scratchbuilt Mig-31 if possible, or Mig-21 MF
warreni- Mig- 1/32 15,17,19,21,23,29...
Littorio-1/144 Mig 21 or 23
drabslab- Mig-17 or 19..scale unk.
Phantom2- 1/32 one of MiG-19C, or MiG-21UM or MiG-21F-13, or MiG-21MF (Revell)
JMartine- 1/72 Mig 17/21 combo. One or both??
SmashedGlass- 1/48 Mig-25 possible.
As you can see we have a most if not all airframes covered. All scales are represented too. If we could get folks to settle on a particular airframe and go with that one, it would help. There are a lot of people that expressed interest in the campaign, but no particular airframe. I won't dictate what they buiild.... what fun would that be...
I think once we get the nod of approval I/we can focus things a bit better. The only ones I'm seeing singles of are the Mig-15 and 25 by Erik and myself, but that shouldn't be a problem even if he decides to take on a different airframe. As it stands now we have all planes covered and plenty of time to fill any holes if and when they should appear.
Does this help?
Thanks, "Q"
ps. I realize that those of you who listed multiple airframes wouldn't be building all of them...but that would be cool wouldn't it?! Just wanted to list what you said you would be interested in building

I'll be doing either a Syrian MiG-21bis, North Korean MiG-15, or Ukrainian MiG-29A.
If there were a decent and affordable MiG-9 kit out there in 1/48th, I'd totally do that one (it is the one airframe we are missing!), but i don't think there is
all my options are 1/48th.

Only ones I have been finding are the Amodel and MPM kits in 1/72. Still wouldn't be a bad addition to the line up. Still nothing on an approval yet, but it did say it could take up to two weeks. Standing by.... "Q"

Hey Matthew! I've got a 1/72 scale MiG-17 from DML that has been laying around for fifteen years or so. Good excuse to build it. I'm in. Russell

all depends on the staff member volunteer and how much time they have for admin work at any given moment.

Just to get folks motivated...Here's the 1/32 Mig-21 I just finished...
The weapons loadout from this model will be used on the scratched Mig-31 I intend to complete for this campaign...

Since the Mig-21 is already done, I'll be focusing on the 1/32 Mig-31 project.
Still haven't gotten the go-ahead to start early, considering its a full scratchbuild and not a kit.
What say the masses?

OK, well I've been lurking about here for better than a year, but I can't resist this one. I have a squadron of MiGs in my stash, and this is the perfect excuse to build a few of 'em! I actually have a Foxbat in progress right now, which will be my second. (A "correction/conversion" of the condor kit to -25PD)

As the HMFIC of this one, I am inclined to give you the nod of approval for an early start as it is an entirely scratch built endeavor. Feel free to get the things in motion while we wait on approval Jeff. "Q"

I've got the 1:72 MPM MiG-9 in my stash. If needed, I can fall on that grenade (looking in the box, that's a fair comparison), but would probably build something else as well. Probably a Trumpeter 1/32 MiG-19S or -21F/MF/UM.

Mornin' Q,
Wow, I check out for a few days and this page goes crazy. I sure like the idea of covering the entire MiG jet range within the scope of our endeavor and would like permission to come onboard. After perusing the list I did not see one type that I happen to have in my stash (and have been waiting for a good reason to give it a go) - the MiG-31 in 1/48 scale by Collect-Aire Models.
I'm going to have to sharpen my cyanoacrylate skills. Ugh!!!
Many thanks!
Mark

You can count me in!
I‘ve almost the entire MiG jet range in my pile, err stash, err store-room...
So, this campaign is very welcome to get at least one of them started (and finished).
Don‘t know which to choose yet - in any case it will be a rakish aircraft in 1/48...
Possibly, the Eduard MiG 21 is available till then, too.
I‘m on standby for mission.
Cheers
Matty

Welcome Matty and Mark. There is a Mig-31 in the line up only in 1/32. It will be a scratch build, but a 1/48 offering will be welcomed too. I'm thinking we should have a nice representation of all airframes once we get approval and receive a start date. Hoping that won't be too far off. Thanks again for joining in. Thanks, "Q"

Yeah, I noticed that, when I signed out.
I am trying to figure it out at the moment.
The strange thing is the link works .

Hi Andy
I had this trouble a few weeks ago when I spotted a couple of campaigns [F-14 and F-16 campaigns] waiting for approval. I announced to the community that they were there, but a lot of people could not see them Apparently only admin folk can see the campaigns waiting for approval, although when I checked there were quite a few none admin folk enrolling. A bit confusing me thinks

Hi Tim,
I think there might be a glitch.
I only found out that the staff could only see the "waiting approval" bit, because I had signed out .
I have put Fred on the case.
