Everybody loves a Fishbed by the look of it.. Think I will try for something else..
I seem to remember in the dim, dark recesses of my memory that long ago I bought a Zvezda Mig-31 before I found out how dire these early Zvezda kits can be. This would appear to be the perfect time to resurrect the model from the bowels of the warehouse and give it a try.
I had a look at the destructions and it would appear that the main undercarriage has only tiny attachment points and is very fine. Think this will be my first wheels-up model for more than 20 years.. helped no end by the stand the model comes with!
Let the countdown begin!

Insert Russian accent here---> operations will commence in less than 12 hours comrades. Lets us go forward and do our duty for the Motherland! Now back to our regular programming. Looking forward to seeing this one start folks. Hope everybody has their Migs lined up and ready for take off. My Mig is undergoing maintenance issues and will have to make a late departure, (read other projects that need finished first) but I will join up on you as you move towards the completion date. See you all next year! "Q"

No pics yet but I have already put most of the 31 together
So far it is almost falling together..
But then I found a slight fit problem which is on both sides of the fuselage..
Will see how it goes but this SHOULD be finished sooner than later!
Happy New Year to all!!

I ordered a resin cockpit for my Mig-29 from Pacific Coast yesturday so I'll wait until it gets here to start my build. I still have plenty to keep me busy till then.

Glad to see everybody is getting geared up to begin. I made the campaign ribbon and have posted it. Gotta love Photo Shop and what you can do with it. I incorporated the Migoyan logo into it along with a Mig-35..according to the picture I found online anyways... If you squint hard enough you can almost, sorta, kinda make it out.. See you all shortly..
