Greetings Everyone!
I need a break from PE on large ships and rigging WW1 kites and a few OOB Matchbox kits should be a good break. No rigging, no muss, no fuss!
I have a few kits that apply, the HP Heyford is for the KoTS campaign but I still have a Prowler and a Chinook in Matchbox packaging, but have lots of Revell repops including a 1/32 Lysander and Tiger Moth.
Will see how I go..

Great to have you on board Warren! I'm sure that this Campaign along with the Airfix adventure will provide a lot of fun and a welcome relief from the tangled web of PE and resin that has become the standard lately.
Cheers, D

Might be able to get a few built in a short period. Nothing like the time it took to do thirteen aircraft for the KoTS campaign..

I rarely even bother with PE these days anyway. Unless its something that really does need it or its included with the kit. I came to the realisation that with the cost and time wasted hunting around the net for that little gain in detail just wasn't worth it. I take my hat off to those that do go that extra mile, but I model strictly OOB for fun these days. Besides, how else would I be able to use up those lovely decal sheets I have squirreled away? Thats why we need more campaigns like this!

Well folks, only a couple of days until the start of this wondrous trip down memory lane !
I will create a new thread for the Campaign and this one will be locked, and as usual for my Campaigns I will begin with a Roll Call/Build Status post which I will keep updated throughout the course of the Campaign.
Time to loosen the bottle top on the Extra Thin cement, replace the blade in the old Xacto, rustle up a couple of new sanding sticks, and put the kettle on.
Cheers, D
