Hi,
Some great work and cool schemes being donein this campaign, guys.
For a couple of years, I built up a stash of Tamiya Vipers without starting on them.
While my F-5E from the Afterburner decals campaign had some paint drying, I started on one. I liked it and soon things were out of hand. Yes, that's 4 Tamiya cockpits at the top of the picture.
I hope to finish a Block 30 in the markings of the NM ANG for this campaign.
Cheers, Stefan.

Well I've repaired my paint job and started decalling. Too late for the Afterburner Decals Campaign, but I'll make this one.
Cheers, D

Hi All,
Justin,
Great progress on your build so far.
My F16c {Block 25} in the Indiana N.G. markings is now a finished project, {I used the Afterburner Decals on this bird} and the only addition is the resin seat.
Having some problem getting my pix up, so I'll post them here later.

Hi,
Yes, it'll definitely be a fight to beat the deadline.
And I have misplaced my NM ANG instructions somewhere. I'll switch to a Block 40 from Aviano, with both pods of the LANTIRN system and 2 GBU-24's.
I've seen two builds of the "Neon Chicken" with that load-out online so far, so I'll build the line bird.
Nice ones, Jeff and Rob.
Cheers, Stefan.

Just a question so I'm clear Stefan Buysse are you building all 4 for this campaign?

Great builds, Rob and Jeff. Very colourful schemes!
I hope to get some progress on my build next week.

Hi, Justin.
No, I'm just trying to build one for this campaign.
When I started out on one, I also took some other F-16 boxes out of the stash, because one has to exchange some parts between boxes to build certain Blocks. When I had assembled one cockpit, I found that easy and did the others too. Likewise, I assembled some launchers, droptanks, wheelwells...
While the carpet monster temporarily holds on to the NM ANG instructions, I'll aim to finnish an Aviano Block 40 for this campaign.
Cheers, Stefan.

Finally managed to get to the local pusher when they still had some Mr Surfacer 500 in stock, picked that up along with a refill of sanding sticks so I can get the seams cleaned up on my MLu. Hopefully I'll be able to start painting on Sunday then.

Everyone's F-16's look great!! Could I be inspired to build a modern jet too? I hope so, if it could look half as good as what I've seen on this thread! Great work guys. Russell

Finally started laying paint, with the underside Light Ghost Grey. Next up is the radome and then the main coat of Gusnhip grey. Gonna be a struggle to get this one done on time with the extensive decal sheet, but I think I can pull it off. The good news is that I seem to have finally figured out how to get good results from MM Acryl. And the answer is ridiculously low pressures. 8psi or thereabouts

Moving forward quick, Justin. Like the extra details added to the landing gear. Hope you make it.
I have finalized the very complex color scheme of overall black I have also painted the main details. Next is a gloss coat and then on to the decals. I hope to finish this bird before the end of the weekend.
More to follow
