Hi guys. Really nice choices I see. Well I personally couldn't still choose a Spook for myself. Anyone doing Korean? Or Turkish? I will probably do one of the above.
Hi Yalym, someone already said they would do Turkey, but no-one is doing S Korea as far as I'm aware, so go for it!

So be it then! ROKAF it is. Thank you very much. This will take me one step further in my "Phantoms Over the Nations" project since I have already done one in TuAF. I'll keep you posted. Cheers.

Hi all.
Here is a update my entry which will have Tiger camo
but I will try to mask rather than use the decals that came with the kit.
Grey primer to test seams and now white coat as a base for Yellow to come.

Masking and painting the tiger stripes? That sounds like pure misery. Good luck.

Hello, at last I started my kit for this campaign. Bought it in 1991 at the RIAT at Fairford and it was unopened till now. Hope I can post some more photos soon.

The Fujimi 1/72 Spey engined Phantoms are superb, hard to believe they're ~ 25 years old!

Been a while since I've updated. All the paint is done, just finishing the decals and fiddly bits. I'm stuck waiting for some turbine stripes before I can finish the decals so I've been doing the fiddly bits.

Last step will be the seats. I might just end up springing for a set of resin seats, the kit seats are the only awful part of this basic but overall pretty nice kit.

Very nice, I love the early USAF F-4s in the light grey. If you're planning on having the canopies open I would definately get some resin bang seats, such an easy way to improve the look of a kit.

Thanks Martin, at the moment I'm a little stuck with the painting and some minor parts. Hope to finish it soon anyway. You did a fine job on your Phantom!
Let's keep on modelling!

So with two month to go I will start this build, think i will make it? I hope so. So might remember that I started out doing a F-4B but somehow the paint in the pit decided to go all stick and mushy on me so that being a write-off
I decided to do something a little different, a Wild Weasel. For the build i will use:
• Aires F-4G cockpit
• Aires F-4 Wheel bays
• Eduard F-4G PE set
• Eduard Wheels for F-4G
• Eduard Bang seat for F-4G (I’m going to use the belts)
• Eduard F-4G engine
• Rhino Intakes
• Eagle strike decals F-4G Wild Weasel
• Hasegawa 1/48 F-4G Wild Weasel
See you around and wish me good luck!!

Good luck Jakob, you'll need it! Should certainly look impressive though with all that aftermarket.
In other news, I've started on my Greek RF-4E, but nothing worth showing right now.

Yeah it will certainly take some effort to get it all together but I will
.
Which kit are you using for the RF-4E? The HAF ones do look pretty awesome! I’m planning to build one after this (kinda got the Phanthom bug) and in my search for reference I found this site which contains loads about HAF Phanthoms. They even have the serials of all HAF Phanthoms, colorprofiles and more, check it out.

Thanks for the link I'm using the Revell 1/72 RF-4E to build an ex-Luftwaffe bird with the "square" recce nose that only German RF-4Es had. I want to call it their "new tool" Phantom, but its according to the decals its 16 years old!!
Anyway, its a little cracker of a kit.
Here's what I'm going for using the superb Icarus decal sheet.

Progress is as progress does! And you're further ahead on your F-4 than I am on mine...
