A small square of plasti-card was required to get the wings on even. I'm not sure what the dehydral of a 737 looks like, but, at least the wings are even.

Its starting to look like an airplane. Still needs filler, sanding, and some scribing.

Thanks, Jessie.
I should have asked earlier, as the drawing confirms I now have a funny looking 737. The dehydral is equal to the stabalizer on mine. Oh well!

Just a quick update before I assemble the inner barrel of the Globemaster, you can see the decal with the floor pattern for the cargo bay:

I decanted Krylon grey primer for plastic and primed my 737. A warning: Decanting Krylon into a yogurt container(single serving) is not a good idea, as it eats through the containers bottom and severely alters the bench-top appearance.

I'll lightly sand, reprime the missed areas, and then resand. I'm very happy with it so far.

The inner barrel is assembled, and the main undercarriage bays are assembled and painted.

Next, tail assembly to put together, and a little painting on the inside of the fuselage halves.

Camo is complete on the Viper - looks worse in this photo than in real life, probably because the model in this pic is about twice the size of the real model!

Now comes the hard part of all those walkway decals

Guido, that TSR2 is superb and the figure is beautifully done and really adds character and interest.
I'm halfway through building a Revell 1/144 British Army Apache Longbow for this campaign but I've lost the (small) box and I just cant find it anywhere so there are some vital bits missing. I'll post a progress pic soon.

Please don't make the mistake of thinking I'm not liking the model. I am very happy with it. All those trivial points in the photo's simply mean I'm still learning; just like everyone else.

it does look good, I'm liking it too. so - onward.
I've made a start on the AModel C-123

getting the halves together over the interior will be interesting. aint happening tonight.

The shape is excellent, the surface detail is decent, and some of the engineering concepts of the assembly are impressive. Every time I build one of these A Model kits i appreciate their efforts more. Ill admit I binned the first one I tried years ago, but since then, ive done scratchbuilding garage resin and vacuform kits, so A model is relatively high on the hog, as it were, and they keep coming up with models of my favorite aircraft. I am intensely nostalgic about C-123s. (I know, they were flying garbage trucks) In fact I just bought two more kits.

I've been curious about that kit for a while now so I'll be interested in seeing how it turns out.

Wow, Rob. Those look like kits I would have seen in the dime store in the 1960's. The way that Sunderland is putting down subs, I would have bought it right off. Great choices

Thanks Ben,
They are from the 50's and it took awhile to figure out what kits they were as I have had them for years and only in a blank box with instructions with no mention of a company or year.
Cheers Rob.

Okay, some pics of the Apache. This is the Revell 1/144 Apache Longbow. The kit only comes with US or Dutch decals.
This one will be in British Army service.
What I've built so far, it has been masked and painted in Revell NATO Olive. It's a surprisingly delicate kit and as you can see, I've already broken two of the rotors off.

A question for the experts out there (Jessie!). Do you know a good colour match for the Globemaster? My understanding is all Globemasters are the same colour, as that's how they leave the factory. Xtracolour do a shade called "Mobility Command Grey", which I believe is correct, but Hannants are currently out of stock (really useful), so is there a close aproximation you know of? (preferably Humbrol)
