Nice start to the Mustang. Hey! You got a cockpit! I didn't get a cockpit with the Sweet Macchi MC200AS I'm doing. And they're open cockpits.

Not much of a cockpit James, just a seat and a radio set. Actually I have already assembled the aircraft and painted what is given as a cockpit but I am way too tired and sleepy to take a photo and post..it is 0445 here. Gotta sleep. Macchis are older kits. Never saw one up close but I can guess what they are like.

Quoted TextYes, very interesting article. I can't believe they've honoured Justin Bieber like that, but they forgot about Gilles Villeneuve!
You did read right to the bottom of the article?
Just want to point out that Norwegian actually do have the portrait livery on their airfleet. Not sure if any AM-decal makers have picket up on it. I'm sure not only Scandinavians would like to build say H. C. Andersen, Sonia Henie or Roald Amundsen. :-)

Gonzalo, nice MiG.
I, too, am making progress on my C200AS; but I do not think I'll be able to finish by the end of the campaign tomorrow. Oh, well.
Here is where I am now. This is from the 85° Sqadriglia 18° Gruppo Autonomo, Lybia 1942:
And this is from the 364° Sqadriglia 150° Gruppo Autonomo, North Africa 1942:
I'll keep plugging away at them, and we'll see what happens.

Thanks for the comments, guys. The green camouflage markings are decals that come in the Sweet kit. They're kind of a pain, but I think they'll look nice in the end.
Yalım, as far as I know there are no Finnish decals for the C200. I didn't even know Finland used Italian aircraft. Outstanding job on that Mustang.
There are some really nice looking aircraft in this Campaign.

Just a note that we've almost reached the end of the campaign everyone. I've very impressed by the variety and quality of work you've all produced, well done!
