Hi,
My Betty is almost finished but it needs more tweaking.
This old Hagasawa box is surly not up to current day standards but still nice to built, straight out of the box easy however I don't like the look of it so I scrach built a (not correct) interior just so it looked more realistic. Her belly houses a strong magnet so it stays fixed onto the metal stand.

After a primer coat (several layers actually) and a whole lot of sanding including the over done rivets I completely sprayed it in aluminum and added some preshading.

After a good layer of hairspray applied the 2 tone camo that has been used by the Takao Kokutai flying out of Clark Field in the Philippines April 1942, decals are from Techmod out of Poland and are lovely thin much better than the original thick and yellowish from the box,...

Yes I still want to remove some of the camo paint to reveal the aluminum and do some washes/oil paints to blend it all however I will not make it in short time so for the little bit of tweaking left to do I call it good for now.

So what about the Ohka, well that one is Finished!.

As it's so small I put it in a Swedish disgin picture frame with a Japanese WWII style flag back ground to hang it on the wall,.. I thought I was kind of appropriate.

Niel, thank you for the campaign and the fun
