Hello all, please feel free to enter this campaign with any airplane model you haven't finished yet. No need to explain
I have this box of 727's to start with, I started these when I first joined Kitmaker.

Enlisted!
Was trying to get another kit in under the wire for 14, but it looks like it will be the first done in 15.
Might even finish up the B1, F15 or the Ta152 that all got worked on for HQ IV, but not finished.
In a perfect world, I'll polish off one a month, but that probably won't happen. Easily got enough kits to do that... sigh..

I may attempt to salvage my miserable Seafire or the less miserable Nieuport.

Count me in - just dug out a 1/72 Monogram kit of the P-36A that was started as a what if before I went to Japan. So expect that to be done fairly soon, considering I seem to have gotten all of the preliminary painting done two years ago.. it shall be an Austrian Hawk, for those interested.

"Austrian Hawk" sounds very interesting, Martyn.

Well I'm III for IV on Hanger Queens, so I'm in. My Sig just has a few candidates. Maybe I'll actually finish one this year.

Sword Malta Combo (Club Med Campaign)

Figure did not need to repost pics.
On a similar but non Aeroscale subject, is there an Armorama version of the 'Hanger Queen' Campaigns ? I have several subject that could be posted/added to that campaign
Cheers

The armorama version is called Gettr Done.
There is an Unfinished Buisness campaign as well.
Same idea, different name.
With a little bench time in the next 2 days, I might have the Ho229 done. Needs washes fading and decals. No it's not the 1/32 vers, but the RoG in 1/72. Does it count as a "shelf queen" if I was working on it yesterday?

"If you can't finish one campaign, join a second....."
Actually I joined the last campaign with 30 day left and I wanted my build to have several aftermarket parts included. Needless to say I ran out of time.
So in this second campaign, it's about continuing on where you left off.... PERFECT! Thanks for the referral 'Michael Satin'.
Review: I've almost completed this Eduard F6F-3 Hellcat with a couple of aftermarket items that I've added:(all in 1/48 scale)
Eduard's WASP R-2800 engine,
Wolfpack wing fold set,
True Detail resin tires,
Quickboosts Mark VII gun sight..
here are a few pics:
WASP R-2800 Engine..
All parts pre-paint shop...
THIS IS WHERE I AM AT...
Now I will take my time and do all touch-up paint and weather at "MY" speed...

Ho 229 decals were so old they were junk, so on hold until I can source some replacements. Stencils, crosses and numbers.
Not like I don't have a 'cough cough' FEW other projects.

Here's the 1/72 P-36A, you can see I'd already painted it two years ago before forgetting about it.
And after some further cementing and addition of decals, I'm close to finishing it. Here it is as a Curtiss 'Falke' of the Royal/Imperial Austrian Air Force:

That's wonderful!
A really complicated what if scenario there.. and a venerble model kit. I can remember seeing Monogram kits like that at Woolworths, (and not much else) 40 or more years ago.

I was going to continue on with the “Boomerang” that I had entered in Hanger Queen IV, but I need a long break from that kit! Therefore I am going to try and complete my Trumpeter Flanker that I have had sitting on the shelf for a long time. It shouldn’t take too much effort to complete the build, but maybe a while to paint!

Shorty, looks like you have the same problem I have with mine, that 1#!@#@!# wing/fuselage joint. At least my intake trunks fit well.
Any thoughts on how/if you are going to tackle that one?

Since it was pretty basic, I've gotten the P-36A finished. One of the 'Blue 3' marks and one of the rank marks fell off unfortunately - my fault for using poor decals. Still here it is, the Curtiss P-36A 'Falke' of the Royal Austrian Air Force, Fliegerregiment Nr. 1/Jagdgeschwader 'von Fernbrugg', from a very complicated alternate history:

I like that alot. both the basic aircraft and the alternate history.
You need a better camera, or look for a "macro" setting on your camera, I really want to see it in focus. also in brighter light. It deserves to be seen properly.
but in any case , congratulations on being the first to finish this years Hanger Queen! And by all means bring out another one if you have more, I like the way you think.
