I am getting a big kick out of seeing the work here in this campaign, but I haven't gotten around to starting yet, so I don't think I'll be getting into this campaign after all.
Keep at it, though. I love reading it here.
Cheers!

Sorry to hear that Sean but i suppose you're leaving it a bit late to begin
Looking back through the thread there are several builds still in progress, looking forward to seeing if these come through in time !

Gary nice little dio.
Tat, interesting (and dare I say rare) finish on the Panzer.
Tom nice controlled weathering on the landy
And just in time the Jayhawk is complete. I finally found the one redeeming feature of this kit. The decals are excellent and went on well and except to two little boo boo's which were my fault were great.

Well done Andrew! Just in time and with a fantastic Jayhawk too. If the kit had little redeeming features then you made a great model from it.
Do you know the reason why the tail wheel is moved forward on the Jayhawk? Curious modification.

Paul, the Jayhawk like most(all?) maritime hawk series has the mid mounted tail wheel vs the land based end of tail mounted wheel. Why the difference? Ease of shipboard handling.

nice looking Jayhawk.
I know (for sure) I'm not going to finish on time, although we even had an extra day it is not enough.
Anyway I painted the whole inside and now working my way true all lumps and bums and filling the gaps and a bit of correcting, priming tomorrow I hope.

Congrats on your finish Andrew -- very nice bird if you ask me!
Thanks for your comment. Photos of such are quite few, and from the ones seen I can only count two such designated vehicles, most probably used during the French campaign. From what I gather it was used to transport medical personnel as opposed to wounded ones -- it would sure be a tight fit if were to be evacuated in one!
Cheers,
Tat

Congratulations eMan and Tinbanger, that looks like it's time up for the campaign. Very well done for getting them in right at the end.
I'd like to say a huge thanks to everyone who played their part in making this a really interesting and fun campaign, whether they completed a model or not. The last six months have fairly flown in. As a new guy in the forums I wasn't at all sure how this might go but it worked out pretty well !
We managed to compile a really varied bunch of subjects by the end: choppers, boats, tanks and ambulances, even international rescue! Lots of interesting and bright paint schemes too. Quite a gallery! Congrats to everyone.
