I will be building Airfix's 1/48th scale Warrior Infantry Fighting Vehicle.
Still deciding on paint schemes and whether or nor to do the interior.
(P.S.: Sorry about the poor photo. Future ones will be better.)

Small update. Interior parts built up and ready for paint.
Now to try and find a decent reference photo...

Bob, I'm leaning towards a NATO Green scheme, although there are a few good pictures of Warriors on operations with a mix of green and desert tan armour panels, which is interesting.

Hi,
Looking to come on board with an old Airfix Canberra. I need to figure out the hosting arrangements for images first though!
Cheers

You will need to be careful if doing a Green scheme as most Warriors were not fitted with the Air Conditioning unit in temperate climes. Nice kit though. I have one in the stash and have bought both an Aerobonus driver and gunner for it from Hannants. Interior on the Warrior is finished.
I used Tamiya acrylics, plus a wash with Humbrol enamels (which were also used for the mud).
Not the best work ever, but it'll only be visible through the rear hatch anyway;

Thanks for the tip, although I was referring to pictures like this; https://goo.gl/images/zfHj56
which appear to show Warriors deployed in the ME with said green paint. That said, they are all of an earlier variant.
I'll keep looking, bearing in mind what you said about the AC of course.

Great - finally got the image attachment and hosting thing sorted out. Here is the box art for the Canberra build!
I will be building the RAF version with the gun pack.
Cheers

Having looked over the instructions for this kit I am pleased at the low part content. This is a real relief after a bit too much 1:35 vehicle building recently (am I allowed to say such things here?!).
The detail in the cockpit and crew cabin is virtually no existent and the ejector seats seem to have been inspired by something out of either Joe 90 or Captain Scarlet - certainly they do not resemble anything you'd be likely to find in an aircraft.
Most of the crew area is completely hidden anyhow once the fuselage is sealed up - so I am not too concerned.
Cheers
Richard

The fuselage halves are now together and following these photos, the raised panel lines have been sanded back.
I have also added the gun pack to the belly of the plane. So far most items have fitted surprisingly well with relatively little need for gap filling. The only exception being the bomb bay doors which locate against tabs rather than a full length lip.
Stay tuned
Richard

Good choices and work guys!
Already quite action here
Richard: well done so far on the Canberra - love that a/c with it's smooth shape.
Bob: again - good work 'n progress on your Hurri. Have that kit also (as well as the new molds in 72 + 48)
The campaign is open for all kind of kits, isn't it? So while I can stay in my comfort zone (Aeroscale) I'm thinking about a non-wingy thing. Probably a Cromwell MK IV in 72 scale.
Thomas

Richard, the Canberra is taking shape nicely. I also like this airplane.
Thomas, thanks for the kind words.
