Bringing up this old thread with some new figures. SCAHMS 2007. This figure has evidently been modified to represent a Marine Feld Jasta pilot. Love the dobie.

This is a set of British pilots from Elan. Have they produced any other sets? Apparently one of the figures is supposed to be Raymond Collishaw from Nanaimo BC, right here on Vancouver Island.

HI Guys,
Loved all the figures!
Stephen, thanks for your mention of our 120mm Guynemer. It's REALLY a nice figure! It was sculpted by Tom Sollers (aka Microsculpt) and he did a fantastic job. He actually photoetched the medals and then fixed them to the master. So, when I cast the figure, the medals are EXACT!! - Unbelievable!
...also thanks for showing our 1/48 guys. They look really cool in B&W. Of course these were done by the infamous Mike Good. Mike's figures are fantastic and one of my favorites is the 1/32 Voss he did for me ...just because it is so "spot on" as they say on these boards.
However, here is another one of MY favorites. It's our own 120mm Lufbery with Lion cubs Whiskey and Soda. The sculpting might be considered ta little "dated" by today's standards, but still a nice figure. I just love the nonchalant pose with cigarrette. And, I REALY like the horizon blue uniform - for some reason it really appeals to me. Plus, the lion cubs are a unique feature. Finally, it has some sentimental value: it was sculpted by the late Jim Payette. He was one of the forerunners of the figure hobby. In the same company as Terry Worster, Pat and Ollie Bird (Series 77), Ron Highnote, etc. He was a good friend and mentor and sculpted a lot of my 120's helping me launch The Model Cellar years ago. Unfortunately he passed away in 2000.
Anyway, ya just gotta love Lufbery!! (and later on, Mike's Lufbery bust)
One more favorite: Although, it's not a full figure, it's a bust. Our German pilot in the Turkish Air Force sculpted and painted by Randy Meyers. ...just because it's such a unique subject, and it's SOOOOO COOL!!!!
here they are:
...hope I pasted the images correctly. If not, go to our website (catalog page) to see them.
Regards,
Paul

Ok, This is my new favorite: Our September release in 2 weeks: 1/32 Billy Bishop in leather flight coat, 'Fug boots', holding his flight helmet smoking a cig! (sculpted by Mike Good).
Now the cat is out of the bag =). Have a peek and tell me what you think

Hi Lars,
Can't wait to see it painted!
YEAH!! I really LOVE these busts! I have one each of the old DML kits with the busts of Richthofen, Rickenbacker, Goerth, and of course Udet. If you like those from the DML kits, you might like these others that Mike Good sculpted for me at the Model Cellar. They are intended as an extension to that original range... They include Lufbery, Baracca, and now our November release ...Voss!!
Check 'em out...
Hope you like 'em!!
regards,
Paul

Like em? I love em! Mike's cuts have always been a great part of our genre here. Decent facial representations to spot on likeness' is a great addition to any build.

Hi
There a small manufacture in Poland RPM models have or had these beauties. Don’t know if they still can be ordered, but I found them at Jadar hobby. It would be cool to have them on a woodenbase with some allied 32 stuff. You guys who’s build the Se5a, Hint Hint
The first one is a Ford T truck RPM 35016
the second is a Rpm 35017 Ford T M.M.G.S
The scale is 1/35 so they will fit decent. I order them so will see if there still in stock.

The summer is here and that gives me limited times for the hobby. Almost finished with the Dragon Ernst Udet bust, pics later this weeek. News is that I got hold of a nother old dragon box, so the bust collection now includes Eddie Rickenbacker.Photos coming off Eddie to later.
