Happy 2012, everyone! Hope you got the plastic you dreamed of for Christmas. Since football's on tonight, guess I'll pop some corn or maybe grab some potato chips or even some pizza.
Damian, I see it's hot down your way. Hope there aren't wildfires down there!

Hi Tom. Thanks for your concern my friend. The weather here has been chaotic to say the least. Several days of high 30's and in to the 40's, but with very little wind so we had no major fires. On christmas day we had an unbelievable storm event in a very small area focussed around where I live. Almost 100mm of rain in a couple of hours along with a a hail event that caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage. Hail up to 125mm diameter and covering the ground like snow for acres. All of this and the temperature was still in the low 30's (celcius) or low 90's (Fahrenheit).
An interesting few days to say the least.
Happey New Year everybody, D

Barkeep. Get me a frosty longneck!
I spent all day sanding, masking and painting. Unfortunately, it was a 1:1 daycare center and not a 1/72 Corsair.......
I'm tho thor.

Perhaps you should have considered upsizing from the 10mm Tamiya masking tape and your little airbrush.

Well I'm up to 1 1/2 in Blue tape and an airless sprayer. But I'm sure there's not an RLM, ANA or Fed Std number for the paint I'm using....

Ok the last of the New years party stuff is swept up and all is back to normal for now. Lots of left overs to sort through or trash. I am baking an enchilada pie in the oven.. A few top sirloin cuts and some twice baked potatoes (fully loaded mind you) and some dutch apple turnovers.
Hey I just found 5 gallons of French vanilla ice cream!

A belated New Years greeting to all! No parrty for me as I was on dayside shift 1/1/12. Was off for the big football day on 1/2/12 though Had my traditional Christmas breakfast of Tamales, eggs, bacon, and mole sauce.
Note: We need to do something for Boss Jim as we cruised right through Armorama's 10th birthday with not even a stale cookie on the bar. Any ideas?

Well I must say this all sounds good to the palet , but I'm in a drinking mood and will start off with a bottle of Rum and some pepsi .....no ice please .......Now if I'm still standing after a few hours bring on the red wine !
I'm also in that mood to do some ass kicking if needed , so if you see me getting out of control and make-up bag inhand , you have been warned ....now what does a girl have to do to get some music going here ????

I respectfully refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I might incriminate myself

It's okay Damien, we'll just put the donkey in the barn and ask the band to strike up with some sprightly dance tunes. I think we'll start with a little song for Terri.

Well, if Terri is ready to give an ass kicking, let's make sure she's In the Mood

Some times I feel like the Mad Hatter round here. Where is that music coming from?. . .
I just put a plate of devilled eggs out. Tomato and potato soup fresh in the pots. And a plate of hot Monticristo sandwiches. A few mini bannana peppers to add some mild spice and a bowl of crushed jabanero for a little more spice. A pot of chilli Texas ranch style.
Oh an a 7 layer carrot cake with a beaker of fresh cream.
Some House special coffee (the beaker of cream can be used here too). Some Lindor raseberry truffles and a raseberry liqour with a congnac base.
Movies - Lets go for The Kingdom of Heaven with Orlando Bloom
and Robin Hood with Russell Crowe.
Careful gents the ladies may develop a case of the "Vapors" anytime during the showing of these movies. Just hand them a jabanero to help calm them down.

Jabanero or Habanera?
I'll go for the chili and a coupla Lone Star Longnecks. Might have too much snow to go to work tomorrow.

Give me a coupla more longnecks. Stayed home today and worked harder than ever. Not to mention having to dig out 6 in of the cold white stuff. Got any thing for a sore back. Hope that's chilli I smell coming from the kitchen.

It is actually a combination of both produced by cross pollination. But the bees don't seem to live very long. Burns out their little bums.
