I'm not getting my pasty white behind in the way of any spurs. You Aussies are a rough and tumble bunch, you can handle it.

I mean geez, do you folks actually drink Fosters?

Yeah, when it gets a bit dry and dusty down here and the cows don't cooperate, we have it on our breakfast cereal.

Tonight's dramatic presentation is in honour of the date.
Beware, already!

The meal to follow will be in the Roman style. You'll find that the chairs and tables in the dining room have been replaced by divans. The meal will be seved by scantily-clad serving boys and girls. We had to post quite a bond with the agency to get them to dress in costume, so hands off! If they get any more complaints, they'll never let us hire them again.

Now everyone pick up a toga from the pile in the entryway and enjoy your evening.

Tonight we toast our newlyweds with Irish beer. No, not that horrible green stuff, real beer.

Congratulations to Sam and Allen; may you have long years of domestic bliss.

Sam has taken her blushing groom away, so they'll never be embarrassed by the way we celebrate their marriage. Let the revelry commence!

Oh, and we can't let Rowan's birthday pass unacknowledged.
Happy Birthday!

Congratulations Camo and Tomcat, here's to many years of happiness, good health and prosperity to you both ! I've never needed an excuse to indulge in a celebratory bourbon or two, but having one in the background can't hurt !

Well this weekend's fare has been decided. We are looking to the Modern Far East for our influences. Now to understand, most Oriental food is Angelsized. Chow Mein means bits of scrap food with noodles. Low Mein means without. . . I did some looking into this and found some info about 1800's Chinese food that was served in restaraunts in San Francisco that would get even the staunchest stomach a queezing.

So we will go with as mentioned the more modern fare.

Brocoli and Beef with noodles.
Teriyaki Beef or Chicken with noodles
Sweet and Sour Chicken.
Chicken Chow Mein
Vegetable and Chicken egg rolls.
Sweet Crab Wonton.
Kim Che - fermented cabbage and spice.

Sides will be;
more sweet & sour sauce.
Kimlan Soy Sauce
Chinese hot mustard - not for the weak.
Plum Sauce

Bevarages will be Green and black leaf teas.
Chai Teas with vanilla & spice.
30 year old Saki.

Deserts will be in the form of variouse pastries.
Burmese Chinese sweet cakes (甜糕)
Dough Tortoise (Migu) 米龟
Dragon Phoenix Pastry 龙凤饼
Green bean cake 绿豆糕
Horse hoof biscuit (Matisu) 马蹄苏
Husband Cake 老公饼
King Pastry 大砰饼
Longevity buns 寿桃
Moon cake月饼
Prosperity cake (huat kueh) 发糕
Sponge cake 鸡蛋糕(baked)
Sponge cake 鸡蛋糕 (steamed)
White cake 白饼
Wife cake (sweetheart cake) 老婆饼

The Coffee is from Bruma del Zurqui Farm. Rich black and good flavor. Heavy creams and sweeteners if you like.

For movies lets go with
"The Last Samarai" and "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" and finally the classic "Enter The Dragon" with the late Great Bruce Lee.

How about this for an alternative strategy - you send all of your kits to us, and then you will have plenty of time for KP to brew up that magnificent chili again !!

Wow, Kim-chi and horse hoof biscuits, Not sure if I regret missing last weekend or not.

Jan, I'll help you with that barrel, we'll park it over in the corner and put a table cloth over it. The Australians will never know it's not a table.

Never fear Mark, I'm onto your cunning scheme ! I will just crawl around under every table and look for a tap.
