Moved some stuff out of the old shed , bought some model kits over to the new house I'm renting ,
Sparked an interest , looking at the pile of unbuilt kits , hmmmm ...
Pull up a chair , gets a James Boags Premium Lager from the fridge ...
What would be a good starter kit to get into ....

Well now are you looking for simple or enjoyable. Go with a nice Nieuport 17, a fabulous Fokker Dr.I, a fantastic Fokker D.VII, a slick Sopwith Camel F.1, a sensational SE 5a.
Do you sense a trend?

Hmmm , the Great War , canvas , rigging , timber spars , hell in Europe ....what a terrible sight it must have been from the aircraft , and then dogfights in those craft , wow .
Actually I dont build aircraft , well a couple Hueys ...Though theres an A10 thunderbolt 11 in 1/48th by Hobby Boss in the stash ....
This could be the one , simple , out of the box , all closed up , no serious interior ....
be right back

Wow! Girls, call the Ambulance! There's been a breakout of MCP! Quickly, or this whole place will have to be quarantined!
Poor Stephen. I hope we can get him the vaccine soon or his life will be ruined.

Male Chauvinist Piggery. It's a dreadfully debilitating disease which causes men to treat women like servants and then wonder why they're suddenly living in the doghouse. If left untreated it could become epidemic and cause the collapse of Society as we know it.

Oh, Stephen, looks like you really stepped in it. Might I suggest that you step outside and scrape it off your boots.
Then you might try sending a nice chardonnay to the lady holding court in the corner booth. You don't want to wake up one morning with lozenge camo on your finger and toe nails....

So, did everyone survive Halloween OK? I see Stephen didn't do so well just before... But, like Snoopy, he'll rise from the ashes of his Sopwith and go after the Red Baron again .
Gee, time to think of Thanksgiving already. Yum, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, apple pie... I reiterate-yum! And only 2 weeks away...

I just came up from the cellar storage and heard the sounds of tunneling near the the liqour storage room. So I spent 2 hours moving the liqour to another room. What a surprise they'll get when they break through to the produce cold storage bins.

Its the weekend and time for Christmas movies to be added to our menu.
Sorry for the late reply but have been in the kitchen.
Tonight through Saturday I have the crockpots cooking.
1. Texas chilli with jalapenos, hickory smoked beef with red beans.
2. Beef stew with carrots, potatoes, and a prime cut roast beast.
Typical soft drinks and Celestial Seasonings herbal teas.
Fresh hot bread from the oven. Facochia and garlic.
Terri is in the "pink corner" chcking strands of tree lights. I am checking the naughety and nice lists. 20 year Lawson old single malts for the goody bags and the rest of you mugs can get ready to trim the tree.
Now the Christmas fare will be brazzed pepper Turkey. Glazed spiral cut honey Ham. All the fixings from stuffing (onion & sage), Sweet potatoes, black olives, green salads & cranberry jelly.
Pies of the usual sort cherry, dutch apple crum, peach and blueberry. Fresh whpped cream. Pumpkin cheese cake and red velvet cake with a cream cheese topping. (I highly recommend this!)
Dark coffee from Turkey and Brazil with holiday style thick flavored creams.
I have snagged 150 Dominican cigars and 63 bottles of 50 year old brandy with a cherry cognac base.
Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
