For quite a while now, the Scottish manufacturer, Accurate Armour have had a series of Airfield vehicles listed as being in-development. Now, the company have mailed us with details of this impressive-looking range which are NOW available.

Alley Cat have released news of two sets to convert the Airfix 1/48 Sea Vixen FAW 2 into a FAW 1 that will be released in the near future. The separate conversions, one for six line aircraft of the fleet and the other features test aircraft with some rather tasty paint schemes will include decals and Alley Cat promises a very easy conversion. Fancy building something different? Then the latest release from Skunkmodels Workshop is the 1/48 MQ-9 Reaper Unmanned Aerial Vehicle [UAV]. The MQ-9 is frequently hitting the headlines for it's hunter/killer role in Pakistan.

Squadron Signal Publications have announced the latest in their hugely useful series of Walkarounds, essential reading for anyone seeking to add detail to standard kits.

Rather a lot of releases this month from Quickboost in 1/72 and not a jet to be seen, which is good news for all you prop fans. The resin minigun barrels make me want to go out and acquire a 1/72 AC-47.

This month Quickboost have released a number of resin detail parts for mostly WWII types, with the exception of F-5E Tiger II. The resin parts for the Fw Ta 154, P-39 Airacobra flaps and the Spitfire Mk V stabiliser look particularly good.

Balaton Modell is a small Hungarian manufacturer that include in their range a series of 1:72 resin kits of some very interesting aircraft.

This month Quickboost have released a limited run vac formed canopy for the Hasegawa 1/32 Bf 109F. On the resin side Quickboost supply a set of props for Trumpeters 1/32 Bf 109F and control levers for the MiG 23 also produced by Trumpeter.

Just the one release this month in 1/72 scale, but what a release. Aires have produced a lovely looking resin cockpit set to go with Kinetic recent release of the F-16I Sufa. The cockpit tub and those bang seats look superb.

Anigrand Craftswork have released a 1/144th scale resin model of one of Area 51's secret stealth projects, the Brilliant Buzzard.

SBS Model have announced the latest in their series of highly detailed cockpit upgrades, this time for Hasegawa's popular quarterscale Hayate.

Wolfpacs Design latest release is a improved looking radome and probes for the F-16C. Hopefully there will be enough weight in the resin too prevent tail sitting. The probes in the nose are metal. Also included in this release are two resin flaps. Some surgery will be required to fit the nose and flaps.

Kits World will be releasing decals for various Geschwaders in 1/32, 1/48 and 1/72. Aircraft covered include the He-111, Me Bf 109 E/F/G, Fw-190A and the Stuka. Release date will be sometime in Janaury 2011

Latest release from Authentic Decals cover the Focke-Wulf FW-189 Uhu in 1/48 and the A-20 Boston/Havoc in Russian markings in 1/72. Unfortunately Authentic Decals are not specific about which markings are covered, but they do offer some interesting schemes. Stencils are included with these sets.

Latest releases from Aires in 1/32 includes a cockpit set for Trumpeters MiG-23MF Flogger B or you could go for the individual bang seat. The Hasegawa Bf 109F has special treatment with update sets for the cockpit, wheels and wheel bays. As usual with Aires the parts look superbly cast. Take a look at these beauties:

Latest releases from Aires features some superb cockpit sets for the Hobby Boss Corsair II and the Italeri Arado 196. Aires provide resin engine exhaust detail set to improve the look of the Revell F-15I. The resin Marin Baker Mk 10A seats look amazing. For WWII modelers there is a resin wheel and mask set for the Macchi MC 200 Saetta.

Bulgarian firm NH Detail has announced an etched detail set for the Art Model 1:72 kit of the Yakovlev Yak-141 (NATO name Freestyle) supersonic VTOL fighter aircraft.

A72-005 will be available through a number of outlets, including NH Details official distributor NiraHobby.

KP Models are proud to announce the release of the two seater Su-25 UB/UBK in 1/48th scale.

Unicraft have released a couple of 1/72nd resin Luft 46 and a Douglas DS.312A, which was a WWII US pusher fighter project.

"Tenzan" is one of the latest companies on the market. Company HQ is located in Poland and is run by Zygmunt Szeremeta. Tenzan is mainly focused on the resin kits of the Polish made aircraft, or those which were used in Polish Air Force.

Unicraft have released a 1/72nd scale Dornier Do.19 "Ural Bomber".
This aircraft only flew in prototype form and would have been Germany's Super Bomber, had it not been cancelled.

Anigrand Craftworks are not scared to tackle the large, weird and wonderful planes, but this month they have really out done themselves with the release of the huge C-5 Galaxy in 1/72nd scale.

Eduard have released their monthly online magazine for January.

Osprey Publishing have released a book dedicated to the B-57 Canberra in the Vietnam War.
This title is number 85 of the Combat Aircraft series.

Cyber Hobby is set to release a 1/72nd F6F-5N Hellcat, Night Version in February.

WestPac [Western Pacific] aircraft have been well known for their interesting liveries. Most of the aircraft were painted in colorful logojet schemes or if you like flying billboards for various establishments, resorts and businesses. These schemes have resulted in some of the most colourful airline schemes ever seen.

3D-Kits.co.uk offer a new concept in plastic kit conversion sets.
They aim to provide, full run injected plastic parts, high quality decals, exquisite detailing and uncompromising historical accuracy.
Their first ranges cover conversions and decals for 1/72nd Mk I & II Spitfires.

The industrious folk at Welsh Models have another new release in the offing, which is currently with the resin moulders. The new release will be the de Havilland Dash 8-300 series.

Eduard's releases for the first month of the new year include a 1/72nd Liberator B. Mk.VI, in the China, Burma, India, Theater (CBI), as a limited edition boxing.
Two 1/48th kits make a welcome return this month, with an old favorite in a Weekend Edition guise, the Fw 190D-9 and a YAK-3 Profipack.

AFV Club should be releasing their 1/48th F-5F this month.
The kit was originally set for release late last year.

Hasegawa's release schedule continues unabated for January 2011 with several kits in different scales.

With the much anticipated release of Wingscale's series of Mitchell B-25's early next year, Kitsworld Decals are to release in Janaury 2011, a number of decals for them.

Some exciting new releases for the new year from Afterburner. Some very useful stencils for the F-4. One of those aircraft that at points in it's long career practically had a maintenance manual stenciled on the airframe. The other release is for the Tomcats of VF-103 the Sluggers. I will let the good folk at Afterburner sell their products.

Goffy Models have announced that they are to stop taking orders through their e-shop.

Probably all of you have already heard about latest Bf 109F from Zvezda in 1:48 scale. This time one of the Polish companies - Model World - has released a set of painting masks for this kit.

Specialist toolmaker and vendor Shesto Ltd. have announced details of their display at the Nürnberg Toy Fair next February.

Airfix have released some details of the new tool releases for 2011.

This months resin releases from Quickboost in 1/72, focuses mostly on WWII types. The resin air intakes for the Fw Ta 154 air intakes look exquisite. The resin pitot tubes for the for the Fw Ta 154 and the Ju 88/Ju 188 look a bit delicate though.
