Eduard's brand new 1/48 scale Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 is almost ready to ship. The latest word is that the kit will be released on May 1st.
The first issue will be the I-16 Type 10 in Soviet markings. A Spanish "Mosca" will be released separately, with the possiblity of a Dual Combo to cover both Civil War Republican and post-war Fascist schemes.
The next I-16 release after the Type 10 (Soviet version) will be the Type 24, with the promise of more versions to follow - including the Types 17, 18 and 29 as standard production releases, with other versions such as the Type 27 and 28 as limited editions.
