Eduard is to release ‘Riders in the Sky 1945’ next month [November] the second part of their look at the Liberator in the Maritime role once again using the Hasegawa 1/72 scale kit
”November’s Limited Edition kit of the four-engine Liberator GR Mk.VI and GR Mk.VIII in 1/72 scale. The kit focuses on Liberators flown by RAF Coastal Command in WWII, and will offer decals for 13 colour schemes.
As well as aircraft from No. 311 Czechoslovak Squadron RAF, there will be also decals for Dutch and Canadian aircraft colour schemes.
The book, which is a part of the kit, brings story of every particular airplane as well as associated personalities.
The kit contains:
- plastic parts: Hasegawa + Eduard,
- decals (Cartograf) for 13 colour schemes,
- pre-painted PE parts,
- painting mask,
- full-colour photographic publication by Pavel Vančata and Pavel Türk
- an artwork print (A2 size) by Piotr Forkasiewicz.
The kit connects to the Riders in the Sky 1944 Limited Edition kit (March 2018), which focused on Liberators GR Mk.III and GR Mk.V versions of Coastal Command. This first Limited Edition kit also contains the publication by the same authors. This is the first part subtitled „1944“.
The current publication ‘The Riders in the Sky 1945’, as well as the kit itself, are a loose continuation.”
