Looks great. If they scaled this kit up to 1/32 it would be awesome! Gary

The detail and diversity here are extraordinary. I have the sense that the real enemy here is not their early 109E kits but rather the new-tooled Tamiya Mk. I Spitfire.

Unfortunately Tamiya‘s kit is full mistakes. They propose you to cut the 4 pins for the armour plate behind the pilot, as there was no armour plate in MK.I, but it’s rather a very difficult job, as they are moulded to the the delicate frame details. - the seat is wrong. It’s a later type with signal cartridge rack. Eduard also got the seat wrong, but it looks like it’s easier to cut the rack. - in closed door position, Tamiya has included a crowbar on the door. There was no crowbar on the MK.I. - for their famous decal option of that one airplane which landed on the beach, the canopy is wrong. It has a drop shaped visual enlargement in the side.
