Eagle Editions have released details of the latest EageCals, available in all three popular scales:
EC#132 Erich Hartmann Bf 109 G-6
New Erich Hartmann Bf 109 G-6 recently discovered! This colorful aircraft was flown by Hartmann in Rumania when he achieved his 250th victory with 9./JG 52, 4 June 1944.
On the Hartmann G-6, of special interest is the small Red number '2' inside the "Yellow 1" which is believed to be indicative of his back-up machine. The profile and decals were produced based on stills taken from the original period film; however, permission has not been granted to publish the images.
For this exciting sheet, we have added two more colorful Bf 109 G-6s.
"White 12" II./JG 51 Hans Langer including the 'YOU NOT!' on the horizontal stabilizer.
"White 7" W. Nr. 163269 - early version, II./JG 51 Elias Kühlein
Ta 152 H decals - Available January 2011
To supplement the so-far, three Ta 152 1/32nd kits produced by Jerry Rutman, Pacific Coast Models and the new Zoukei-Mura, Eagle Editions presents two sheets of markings suitable for these kits. Additionally, these decals are available in 1/48th and 1/72nd. Although the new ZM kit is specifically a H-1 which has the additional fuel tanks in the wings, simply by filling in the upper wing fuel access panels, it would be converted to an H-0. This is the only external difference between these two sub-types.
