Werner's Wings has announced a great new set for 1/35 Marine modelers. For those who are interested in modern helicopters, this set is a much welcomed addition.

Werner's Wings has released a 5-piece resin set to transform the 1/35 Academy AH-1W NTS into the latest version flying in Afghanistan with turned exhausts to provide a lower heat signature. The set is cast in flawless resin and includes the main casting for the exhaust housing and outlets, an inner engine bulkhead, a small cover for the tail rotor shaft, and 2 inserts for inside the exhaust outlets. It will fit the Academy kit with minimal modification to the kit.
