To show you the excellent camraderie here. Hugh has volunteered to help our Ms. Terri with her photo-imaging skills. After all her great builds deserve to be seen.

Stephen,

You flatter me!

I am no expert on taking photos... I get by (not having a light box or photo box).

But I am always happy to help.

Cheers,

Hugh

Hi folks
Yesterday my beloved son crasched the familycomputer with a darn USB memorystick, so I´ll be off for a time here. I´m glad you like the Pfalzbuild, I will not put an hold to the builds while waiting for the computer, having a big memory in the camera so you will no when I´m back and running the net again.
Cheers

A Juggernaut is something imposing and unstopable... (Does Unstopable have one or two p's)...
Children? My Wife and I reckon that other peoples children are great (at a distance)... For ourselves, Puppies and Foals are the only way to go... They are cheaper to feed and educate than children, and you can sell their offsping!

Hugh

After all, The people that join the build and have purchased their kits with their own money should not be limited to the rules originally intended for those that got them for free from Aeroscale. We will work it different next time.

Great actually.

I am all inspired and motivated after the dismal time I had with the Alby DVa. The F.I is just so much fun by comparison.

The effects that I was trying to get with chipping etc are coming better than I could have hoped.

My wife says that spending so much time breathing acrylic paint fumes cannot possibly be healthy for me (she's probably right), but hell, you gotta die of something... And in my case it'll be that or falling off of horse.

I will be posting some photos of it tonight.

Cheers,

Hugh

PS. in any case, as soon as my credit card has recovered from the purchase of a set of plans for an I/C Powered Felixstowe F2a in 1/6 scale (yes, that is one sixth), I will be purchasing the SE5a Hisso to build... (And I really need a genuine honest to goodness OOB build right now!)...

Greetings all;

The Roden 1/32 Alb. D.III (OAW) kit will be sent to Aeroscale member CaptainA. Some of you will remember his daffodil marked 1/32 Alb. D.III? A similar scheme was employed by Vizefeldwebel (acting sergeant) Fritz John Jacobsen of Jasta 31. He was assigned to Albatros D.III 2090/16 of the first production series.

MOM for June 2007

His in the box review of the Roden 1/32 Pfalz D.III preceeded my build.

review here.
