Most of you might remember the Eduard Fokker D.VII Royal kit build about a year ago? Both our good Aeroscale member Mal & Jean-Luc are tied up in personal projecst right now and I am looking for another couple of wingnuts to help with a similar build. Right now its in the works but hold on to your hats.
To join; PM me with a solid commitment to finish a build.

G'day Stephen - what are the proposed start / finish dates for the builds? I may be able to assist depending on how the dates work out - if I am up to the appropriate standard to assist of course!

Here is an interesting development Our own MerlinV has shown more than a mild interest. How about it Hugh? I could have three modelers besides me working on this. I want you guys to know the builder in me is tempted to do them all!!! But It is best for us all if I get a Kette together and we fly in formation.

Hi Stephen!
Did Roden sent 5 different models or will you all build the same kit but with different markings? Anyway, I'm very excited about this and I wish you and your crew good luck with this project! I will follow it with great interest!

G'day Stephen,
The Alb took about 5 months (that was interrupted by a month break while I moved house)...
1/32 may be a bit of a problem for me - no where to store the finished model!!

Hmmm,
Can I fit it in?
I am already at the stage where I have dropped my intended early bird build (it was the "Taper Winged" camel by the way) and am just going to use a work in progress, and will be struggling to get my between the wars entrant even part way there.
What are the subjects (is one of them perhaps a Hisso powered SE5a?)? That will be a deciding factor for me.
Cheers,
Hugh

There are 5 different kits. I wish I had you with me in this Jean-Luc, but I totally understand the requirements of a new father. Maybe next time mon ami?

Hugh we are looking at a Post new years start around Jan. 31st 2008. Sorry no Hisso SE 5a and I was thinking of taking the Viper powered one for me. BUT What we do have is all of the Roden 1/32 except the Pfalz D.III as its been done.
1@ Fokker F.I
1@ Fokker D.r.I (Kalt has seemed interested in doing Jacobs 450/17.)
1@ Fokker D.VI
1@ Alb. D.III
1@ Se5a Viper powered.

Okaaaay...
Then it will not interfere with what I already have going... Might be nice to do for a change of pace.
Might be intersted in doing the F1... I have a photo of that some where in Clear Doped Linnen.
What are the requirements of the build?
Does it have to be OOB?
What is the time limit?

Ok I have a solid commitment from,
Kalt to get 1@ Fokker D.r.I ( Jacobs 450/17.)
MerlinV to get 1 @ Fokker F.I.
RAGIII who gets to choose from the kits below.
Rick speak up ! Which will it be? Fok. D.VI or the Alb. D.III ( that has the Tom's Modelworks PE thrown in as a "gift from Tom Harrison.)
I get the SE 5a and maybe one of the left overs Rick doesn't go for!

WOW, I am really very flattered to be included in this.
Damn! Six month hey?
It will be good to do a build that doesn't have buckets full of rigging. I am looking forward to getting involved in this.
Thanks Steve (HEAPS) for the opportunity.

Greets Wing Lead,
I would be glad to but I am moving cross-country in a week. I have some projects already committed to when I get there, and do not know if I could make the July deadline yet. I can probably tell you yea or nay in a fortnight times two. I know that's wishy-washy, but the best I can do right now.
